Coming in a little late to the party, but if its not to late I'll join in with a Hasegawa 1/48 AH-64E. Going to be a OOB build.

I'll be putting in a Dragon 1/35 King Tiger. Not sure yet whether I'll be doing it in a white-wash or regular camo. Aftermarket parts include turned barrel and muzzle brake, as well as FruilModel metal tracks. Love those metal tracks!! Used them previously on a Tiger I build. Pain to clean up and put together, but worth it in the end. If there is still time remaining, I would also like to see about doing some Russian armor. Maybe a T-34/85

Here's a good site that lists out all of the 2016 airshows that have been announced. Also, it shows whether the T-birds or Blue Angels will be there. Unfortunately, I don't think you will find any that have both at the same time. http://www.aero-pix.com/schedule/schedule.htm

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll have to wait for the Werner set to come out as I'm not quite to that level of scratchbuilding yet!

One of my good friends from college just graduated flight school with the Army and will be flying HH-60M medevac helo's. I was thinking about doing a replica of the HH-60M for her, but ran into a few questions. I've done a few searches and haven't come up with many answers. So my question is, other than the FLIR and associated fairing on the nose and all the medical equipment, are there any major differences between the standard UH-60M and the HH-60M? Also, does anyone make a conversion kit to add the FLIR/fairing to the Academy kit? I looked on Cobra Company's site, but they all seem to

Just curious. Have you tried a test fit with the aires pit and front wheel bay? I made this exact model a few years back with an aires pit and wheel wells. I shaved both almost to the point of breaking through the bottom and they still wouldnt fit for me. Granted, this was one of my first "serious" builds so I may have overlooked a solution. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

I'm building a Revell 1/48 F-14 in the VX-9 all black scheme. This bird does not come with any external fuel tanks. I'm looking for a set of 1/48 F-14 external fuel tanks so I can add some busy-ness to the bottom of the bird. thanks, Biz

Don't ave any pictures...but I saw the pictures from Oceana and it brought a question to mind. I'm currently at the Outer Banks just south of Oceana, and we regularly see jets flying way high over the beach and shore. But yesterday sometime around 1600-1700 we saw the strangest thing. One F-18 flew South at a seemingly low altitude before turning around to fly up the beach. It could not have been more than a few hundred feet off the water. It was so low, we heard the whine of the engines instead of the roar you normally hear from jets at high altitude. The jet then proceeded to turn arou

I've actually been looking to do this scheme for a while now. I'll definitly be a taker if this gets printed. Look forward to it. Bizzah

I've got one of these babies in paint right now to. And the only thing I would look out for is that seam between the forward and main fuselage. Mine was just all around BAD. Horrible stepping on the top, and the bottom was a few millimeters apart. never did line up exactly right. Just kinda puttied it up and tried to make it look kinda like a seam line w/ preshading.

You got an update? This is absolutly AMAZING

So I went looking for my instructions to the 1/48 Weapons set D today to put decals on my bombs....but alas it has fallen to the monster known in my house as not the carpet monster...but the entire room monster. So if anyone has a scan of just the decaling part of the instruction sheet that would be absolutly AWESOME. Thanks, Biz EDIT: Or if its easier...just telling me which number decals go where on GBU-12's and GBU-31 is fine by me.
