Still in persuit for those decals... -
As this was the first model I ever painted (some 20 years ago), I picked it up again in a hobby shop's sale (for some $3,5) and decided to build it completely OOB in a few weeks. Yeah right... After detailing interior and doing God-knows-what I finally finished it... So, here it is: Well, besides the mechanic guy this model is: You can find some more pictures here...

Most of them. I used crosses from another set, but the rest are original. To me it's one of neatest E-4's ever, so I just had to make it... Finally, it ended on a diorama (I just remembered where did I put picures ):

Thanks for comments guys... The kit was fantastic. Almost no filling... There were only 2 issues with it: the first was in form of sink marks on upper side of flaps (obviously I got earlier series of kit, as on latter ones I got later those were gone), ant the other one is position of the firewall which is located to far into the cockpit (relocation took me 10 minutes)... Yup, Hans Assi Hahn (BTW, original decals are nightmare to work with, as they are all-solvent-resistant)...

So, it's ICM's E4 in 1/72 I made a year ago. I only added Eduard seat belts, antenna (Aeroclub Monovic Invisible thread), few more wire gizmos, and the rest is OOB. Model was painted with ModelMaster enamels.

I remember True Details making weighted wheels for 1/72 B-52, and I've seen Goffy Models announcing resin bomb bay and wheel wells for 1/72, but as far as I know this set isn't released yet (announcement was actually made almost 2 years ago and still nothing)...

It took some time until I found those photos... Here they are now: http://rapidshare.com/files/26872744/Mig-2...-cloth.zip.html 26,5 MB Zip file (no pwd), 46 hi-res photos.
-
Here in Croatia we call it flying table-cloth (back in 60's similar pattern of table-cloths were very popular in village pubs)... :D Regarding Hi-Res photos, I must check their size (I think it's alltogether some 30 megs), and I can zip them in one file and put them on Rapidshare.

Good luck with it... There is walkaround here. If you need Hi-res pictures, contact me on P.M.

Uh, uh, uh... Nice one... I especially like the Alclad finish... Great job!

Thumbs up for Y.Y. Yung. He really is a favourable trading partner... Excellent communication, good prices and fantastic service...

Great looking kit Paolo... I'm fun of Draakens myself, and can hardly wait Revell's reissue of Hasegawa kit to add few more to my collection (sadly I only have one at the time)... About decals, Flightdecs has stock of both Gal and Red Bolt decals, but sometimes takes time to get them, as they might be out of stock or something...
