  1. Here's my latest kit after 10 years of not building. Kit: Tamiya 1/48 F-14A Built as IRIAF Registration 3-6079 F-14A in mid-1990s blue/grey scheme. Used kit decals, added a MIM-23 Hawk and scratchbuilt some Fakour-90s modified from AIM-54, and an AIM-7E and AIM-9J. Black panel wash plus a brown overall. It was sunny so I decided to do a nice sun shoot.
  2. As mentioned, I'm in search of a 1/48 Refueling pod in any brand for a build for an F/A-18F. Please PM or message me if you have one you can part with!
  3. Hi, I have a lot of stuff for sale, mostly to fund medication that's not covered and for care due to an accident to a family member. It would help massively if you could consider purchase something you need, or multiple items. For faster response, please both send me a message here and ben.kwong368@gmail.com. That will ensure I see your message. Keep in mind ALL PRICES ARE IN CANADIAN DOLLARS, (Sorry I don't have time to look up each item's MRSP) I accept PayPal, plus fees if you want G&S and if you're in Canada, EMT; if you see multiple items and want something bundl
  4. Shut up and take my money!!! (Cuz I don’t have the meme around) I’m salivating already. I’m probably gonna be buying like 10 of these from my local store.
  5. Hi, If anybody has this sheet of the F-14 and hasn't built 3-6058 and wouldn't mind parting with the sheet, it would help immensely with my build. No company has made a sheet for 3-6045 so I need to cut a 5 out of an existing frame number for the tail and the arabic script. I just need those sections. Please let me know, I can cover postage if needed. Thanks very much. Ben
  6. What is even going on....8 years of no modeling, a stash of Hasegawa F-14's that I got rid of and a stash of Fightertown decals I have to find, I come back to modeling in 2018 in a world where Tamiya has made an F-14A and is releasing an F-14D?! I bought a load of AM to turn the F-14A into the F-14D and now this. Man......at least I will have that blue IRIAF F-14A...now if only someone will do the splinter camo.
  7. Hi, Anybody got a single spare 1/48 R-77 with the double mounting point launcher? Also looking for a MIM-23 Hawk if anybody's got one. Thanks!
  8. Hey guys, Wanting to do a Nighthawk in that awesome Dragon theme after a 7 year hiatus, but am in need of a set of decals from the TwoBobs set. If anybody could spare even a portion of the set with the camo gray scheme, I'd be really grateful. Have PayPal and EMT. Thanks!
  9. Thanks! I'll have a further update in a few days once I finish some bits and pieces. dkobayashi, you better get on those F-14s haha! Noticed your location's in LHR...you're in London as well? STORM: I can't exactly see any shape difference between the regular Viper and the Block 60...I did notice the lack of pitot and the dual sensors (which I can scratchbuild if I find the time and material to), but other than that I only found sources which said that the nose opens upwards and panel line differences. I was under the impression that the nose had shape differences. Please advise if you
  10. Wasn't aware of the nose issues for the Block 60 as I usually build Navy jets. Any ideas on how to modify them? I've seen the alternate panel lines, but I'm less inclined to deal with that than say a shape modification...trying to keep it simple. In the end if it's too difficult to finish I might just leave it and hope nobody notices!
  11. Hey guys! Possibly been several years since I last visited the forum due to life and other commitments. Between changing subjects to cars (1/24 Tamiya Mercedes SLR) here and there, kind of gave up modeling for a while. But having moved to England to work on my Masters, between work placements and assignments, got to keep myself busy at home. So, naturally, I bought a pair of kits as a challenge build for myself to improve my skills (after warming up with a Revell 1/144 F-14D--yes, not exactly a warm up kit right?): Hasegawa 1/72 F-16E and Fs. So here is what I got, the two kits, Eduar
  12. I just posted in my sale thread and I happen to have these. One of them is glued together and the other one isn't. They are from the F-2A kit and includes the pylons. They're yours if you want them. PM me if you need them.
  13. Hi guys, So I've been gone for a long long time and I've bought a lot of stuff off members of the forum before. Turns out I don't have time to make models much and I've amassed a large collection of kits that I'd rather have people build. I'm also getting into cars more so I'm gonna have to let some of this stuff go. Before the list goes, please do NOT PM me on the boards, I reply faster here: bensonk@interchange.ubc.ca , usually within a day. Please note that buyers pay shipping; I am in Canada and will ship to US and Europe but it might be costly. As a general rule I will GUESS th
  14. I'd stick with 72nd Has releases for a good rep of a Delta. Their 6 piece GE shrouds are a PITA to assemble, but easily remedied if you get a set of GE resin shrouds. I can't really find much else at fault with the kit except that the engine fairings and the aforementioned shrouds need some shape and line work, but otherwise its not too bad. Nothing 100% accurate, but it sits nice on the shelf.
  15. As far as I know the Barak Spine isn't the same as the Block 60 birds. The Barak is actually a Block 52+ modified by the IAF, whereas the Block 60 seems to be an entirely different build in itself. I think someone mentioned trying to find the Vista version of the Hasegawa kit (1/72 exists, but HTF) and start from there. You'll need the Block 60 lumps and bumps, but probably you could get away with scratchbuilding those. Use references. CFT's in 1/72 I think exist from CE, but again HTF. Wolfpack might come out with some CFT's, but its been a while since I checked their site and I don't
