Greetings, I wore my shirt to the Tamya Tent Sale last Saturday. It's a nice shirt for a terrific cause. I am pleased how quickly this project got off the ground! I am slightly disappointed in the sales though. As many of us as there are on the Forums, I had hoped for a more rousing turnout. Steve has done a Herculean job of keeping the site up and running (refusing help when offered). He is a good man and deserves our help. I realize money can be tight, but this is something that even little old tightwad me can get behind :P . Maybe I'll just have to order more stuff... Thanks to all invol

Greetings, I received my booms in the mail yesterday. They look as good in person as they do in the photographs. I will try and be brave and do the 1/3 turn. Good customer service! Thanks, Mike Rama Lama Nota Lota Anything Temple of the Rain -

Greetings, It seems like only yesterday that we were wearing our flame-proof robes on r.m.s. It is good to see that the ARC has maintained the high standards that we all dreamed of in those Newsgroup days. Keep up the good work! Greetings, I know mine isn't quite at the same level as K2Pete's, but I used an adhesive backed vinyl that I got from my local plastics store. LEM Pictures The flash from the camera makes it look shinier than it is. The black is a different textured vinyl that came from another manufacturer. Greetings, I think Holmes is correct about the Yaroslvl connection. Here is a link to a patch from the Yaroslavl Military Financial and Economic University. Look familiar? Hope this helps, Mike Rama Lama Nota Lota Anything Temple of the Rain Oregon -

Greetings, I too used candy foil for my LEM (see Real Space group build topic for results). If I recall correctly, the "darker" color gold I used was from Rollo candy. Just remember not to burnish the foil or you'll lose the lovely wrinkles. The upper surfaces are an adhesive vinyl that I got from a local plastics store. The silver was easier to cut than the black. I got the best results making a masking tape pattern for each panel and using it to cut the various materials. For the foil I used CA as an adhesive. If you need any additional advice, I'd be glad to help. Hope this helps, M
