  1. Great kit, knowing you, this will be quick build and great model at the end!
  2. Cheapest way is to buy bunch of 3mm,5mm and 10mm LEDs, and make your own lighting. Of course, depending on power source (battery or wall) you will need power adapter, some ressistors depending of your power choice, and some wire, to solder everything together, and to connect leds to power source. This is how mine turned out.... power adapter from 220v to 12v, resistor on every led, and some 4070 chips for blinking effects.... nothing expensive, nothin professional, but at the end....i think it look's good enough...
  3. Hello! AMT's USS DEFIANT (NX-74205) is (roughly) 1/420 scale. As for AMT VOYAGER, honestly, i never heard that amt/ertl DID uss voyager in ANY scale.... maybe it's just me, but only two model kits of USS VOYAGER that i'm aware is REVELL and BANDAI. Revell Voyager is in 1:677 scale, BANDAI is in 1/850 scale..... Not sure if any of this helps......
  4. Thank you for your help (a little bit late, i'm sorry)..... Another question on HAF's Sabres..... i saw two camo schemes - one covered in HDL decals, with dark green/tan colors, and pics of real plane in musem, with camo in three colors - dark green/tan/ and something that looks like medium green?? This three tone scheme - is that operational scheme, or painted for museum display? Does anybody have 3-view of that tri-tone camo scheme, or maybe some pictures, so far this is the best option to paint my sabre, but without scheme, based od pics from only one angle, it's hard to correct paint the
  5. sto sve nece pored visle, ludi rusi da izmisle :D Great work! And very unusual subject.! Odlican posao kolega!
  6. It's viper time..... I'm not sure, but in all pics that i saw, cover is mostly either red, or black ....can be with squardon logo, some writings, or without them, just cover..... As for tape....black i guess.... Of course, there's also some colorfull covers, but, judging by that pic....i'd say red.... Not much help, but.... Samo naprijed..... Oh..... according to some diagram i foung in book, on that part of intake are "threat warning antenna" and "air to ground IFF/UHF antena"..... but, i really can't see any "bumps and humps" on pictures.....
  7. Thank you for your help! I was affraid that there's no alternative to NMF on early dogs, but.... can't hurt to ask... Beside parachute housing, is there something else that need to be corrected on early model to get (somewhat) correct late? And, if someone have any drawing, good close up picture of that "late housing", maybe this isn't too much work, so i can modify/scratch new part.....?
  8. Hello! I have Revell F-86D sabre dog EARLY kit, so i wonder, is it possible to do a HAF (greece) Sabre dog from this model, or there's need to do some correction.... some profiles and pics of greek dogs state that these planes were F-86D-35, and on some other places i find information that revell kit is D-35 (or early)..... on the third side, i found that this kit that i have is incorrect to do HAF airplane, becouse HAF's have different parachute housing.... Help please.... if not HAF, is there any alternative to do a camo sabre from this model? Thank you!
  9. Great migs..... and great "metal" finish..... Don't know why, but i like UTI more.... ;) Svaka cast!
  10. Thank you! Sebastijan> Yes, according to that picture, everything is painted in camouflage, even the exhaust parts.... only "metal" things are canopy and part of spine, as far i can tell looking in pic.... A ovo za gurue....ah, sve znas ;) I think that these early migs actualy can't carry drop tanks under the wings, but i really had no choice, when u glue airbrake in lower position, drop tank just don't fit on pylon....of course, i figured that out when the model was completed..... so i placed it on the wing, and later replace that with launchers.... One pic in that configuration, from
  11. Thank you! Glad u like it... ;) Aigore> i agree! Looks much better without any load under the wings, but.... in 72-scale i use flash-pods, on this i use bombs.... next one (and who said that there's won't be another :D ) i'll do a clean config..... just to cover all options ;)
  12. Some older work, few months ago.... Academy MIG-21PF, scale 1/48, with pavla cockpit. Painted with Gunze acryl colors. In meantime, drop tank was removed, and replaced, but sady, at our local competition model was damaged, some parts are missing, don't know what happened, but..... model won 3rd place, too bad that is damaged... but, hey...now i have reason to do another one.... Painted using reference picture found in "arab mig-19 and mig-21 units in combat", and some references found on internet. Some of our local "all-knowing-all-mighty" gurus claim that the colors are wrong, that the dark
  13. Hello! Another finished project, trumpeter RA-5c vigilante in 1/48 scale....Big problems with this kit, fitting is awfull, deformed parts, so i have to scratch-build new ones, tons of putty used, and after few months i finaly managed to compelete it..... Nothing special, but i like it.... Modified intakes, details on cockpit, landing gears (front one is 80% build from scratch, kit part was so deformed, it was unusable), wheels, engines, etc.... Painted with MM enamels..... decals from trumpeter and spare box.... When i did this model in 1/72, i said - never more.... after completing this - n
  14. Thank you, i'm glad that you like it. Okthree> To be honest, i didn't know that's something wrong with the nose. Maybe, just maybe.... i have two "accidents" with model, all two in nose area. First, when i removed nose from sprue, i cut little deeper, and i have to use a lot of putty on upper side, and some on both sides. When the model was finished (almost) i realized that it sit on tail, i didn't use enough weight, so i add some more, i puch a hole in cockpit (beneath the seat) and added some weight. Then, in moment of pure insanity, i "pour" something like half tube of CA gl
