  1. Another 2 more came to mind: Goldeneye, featuring MiG-29s Airport 79 (i vaguely remember the scene of 2 Mirage F1s intercepting an F4, wow, I was still a kiddo then).
  2. Executive Decision (it was known as Critical Decision over this part of Asia), starring Kurt Rusell. Featured 2 F-14s launching from an aircraft carrier and intercepting the hijacked 747 after it crossed the 'safe' zone.... The F-14s were carrying 'live' AIM-54 Phoenix missiles (at least it looked like live ones, with the yellow rings on the missiles). I remeber one of the 747 pilots asking the other what were the fighter jets trying to do... the reply from the other: "they are getting ready to light us up!"
  3. Hi! You may want to check out the following link for hobby shops in Singapore: http://s15.zetaboards.com/MilitaryModellin...topic/270830/1/ The mentioned hobby shops stock 1/48 scale aircraft. HTH! Ben
  4. Would that be the Kaman H-43B Huskie of the Royal Thai Air Force? Ben
  5. I agree will all the good comments about Eric too! His packages are always very well packed to prevent damage, and certainly I would buy kits from him again! Do bear with him if his response may be a slightly later than expected, as I think he's been swamped with orders lately and bearing in mind that ths is not his full time job. (I'm one of those who's swamped him with an order for kits!) Ben
  6. British Aerospace EAP, the technology demonstrator that eventually led to the design of the Eurofighter Typhoon! It's residing at Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering at Loughborough University :) Ben
  7. Just a few more that I think of: 1. Heller OH-58A (more 1/50th than 1/48, though it was listed as 1/48) 2. Mini-Hobby Models Mi-24D and Mi-24F and the manufacturers of the kits (IIRC): - Italeri, Revell Tiger HAP - Italeri, Revell KA-50 Hokum - Fujimi, Heller Allouette (SP) - Fujimi, Heller Gazelle - Fujimi, Esci, Revell BO-105 Ben
  8. Revell-Monogram, Academy and Italeri also did the AH-64A and AH-64D in 1/48 scale. IIRC, Fujimi did a 48 scale AH-1G (I think it was in Black Bunny markings). Are you also covering the list of 48 scale non-US helicopters? Ben
  9. Hi Rob, I'll get a scan copy of the instructions to you within the next 2 days! Ben
  10. Hi Julien, I echo the comments by Cliff, the Kitech 1/48 F7U Cutlass is not too bad a build. The overall fit as quite good. I had to use a little putty in the forward fuselage to aft fuselage joint, as well as the upper-to-lower wing halves at the leading edge, but it was nothing major. The kit decals were horrid, though. I believe this Kitech/Zhengdefu kit's mould is similar to the Hobbycraft kit (exactly the same in terms of the sprue layout, I compared my kit to the Hobbycraft Cutlass kit preview on Internet Modeler). The Hobbycraft kit, if I am not wrong, is actually a scaled up version
  11. Hi, I do have the instructions for Academy's F-16C Kit No 1688 (not the Thunderbirds one). If you would like a copy of this instruction, send me a PM with your e-mail address, and I'll get a scanned copy to you in the next few days. Ben
  12. Hi Jan, thank very much! PM inbound! Ben
  13. I stumbled upon the 1/48 Fujimi MBB BO-105 PAH-1 at one of the LHS and bought it. The kit, in its old box, however, did not come with an instruction sheet. Would someone who happens to have the same kit be able to make a scanned copy of the kit instruction sheet? Thanks very much in advance! Ben
