  1. Still no joy - says photo bucket not working on every photo in the article - even opening in new tab doesn't work - does anyone have these saved that I could get copies - leaving for IPMS Nats in the morning so may be out of pocket this week but any help would certainly be appreciated - doing an A-3 refueling an F-8 in 1/48 based on planes from my 68 cruise on Ticonderoga CVA-14
  2. I can't see any of the pictures - it just says you need to upgrade photobucket which carries a cost of $400 - does anyone have these pictures on file that I could get copies of - saw the article and want to build but when I went back a few days later it was blank Jerry
  3. Several years ago one of the French modeling magazines did a 2-3 issue spread on an A-26K diorama from the Viet Nam era that was really great - if you aren't familiar with the article I might be able to obtain a scan of the many pages and send by email - also might be able to help with some general photos of the bird in various phases and locations - I have been putting parts and pieces together for a number of years to do a detailed model and hope there is some truth to the rumors that possibly someone is going to do a 1/32, but if not the 1/48 will have to do. Would be interested in talking
  4. How different would they be from Navy versions and is there a possibility they will do Navy from the VN era also? Look really nice.
  5. Thanks so much for the reply - have not been doing much 1/32 so don't have any sources for the canopy - this is a good AIM-9 but I am specifically looking for the Cutting Edge "D" model. Jerry
  6. Rick, don't know about the starter but could the reference be to the M2 Machine Gun, Browning .50 Caliber Machine Gun, or "Ma Deuce" which is a heavy machine gun designed towards the end of World War I by John Browning and still in heavy use throughout the world today. My experience with them was during Viet Nam but they are still truly a great weapon that the troops love - once you've been around them for any length of time the sound of one firing is instantly recognizable as a Browning .50.
  7. Personally I would like to see some very high quality 1/32 US AIM-9 Sidewinders in early configuarations (D,E & F) as used during the Viet Nam period.
  8. Anyone out there have any Cutting Edge AIM's in 1/32 they would be willing to part with - will even take one if that is all I can get - thanks for looking - other thoughts on sources also appreciated. Jerry
  9. Does anyone out there have any Cutting Edge AIM-9's in 1/32 they would be willing to part with - Will even take one if not assymbled - any thoughts on other sources also welcome. Jerry
  10. Is there any chance you have a Cutting Edge AIM-9 in 1/32 - really need one and would even take a single if complete - thanks for looking and if you have any ideas I would appreciate your thoughts. Jerry
  11. I have found several online sites that have some good informations on bombs and components - personally I am trying to find some good closeups and especially measurements of extender fuses used on the Mk82's (Navy) during Viet Nam. Hope this site helps http://www.ordnance.org/gpb.htm
  12. Google "seamless suckers f-8 crusader" and it pulls up several references and pictures - I have used this particular intake and thought it worked well, but it is made specifically for the HAS 1/48th bird.
  13. Thought maybe this fell through the cracks because it was the weekend - does anyone out there have any info that might help me with this question
  14. John's Models now has all the CAM molds and John is producing much of the original line, and adding things all the time - I have had good luck dealing with John via phone or email and wouldn't hesitate to order from him again. Check what he has at http://www.johnsmodels.com/ Jerry
