  1. Also a little update on this thread: I already lengthened the Jet Ranger kit (2,1 cm) by using plastic sheet and scratched the air intakes for the engine: But a lot of things to scratch: - new landing skids - end plates - make each rotor blade longer (0,8 mm) Greetings Michael
  2. A little update today: I added the pitch links , scratched with wire, to the main rotor. I also scratched the missing antennas and glued them in place.   3. Hello !! During building my Bell 412 (in the GB section) i found some photos of the new Schider Helicopter Service EC-135 in the net. So i decided to build it. I also removed all errors of the Revell kit. - shortened the tail fin - added the window in the left clam shell door - correcting the landing skids - added the WSPS from the EC-145 kit - corrected the complete interior (removed stick and pitch on co-pilots side, corrected the EMS interior) - added the landing light in the nose of the EC-135 - drawed the decals and printed them myself A lot of things to do: - Changing the
  4. A little update today: I could nearly finish the main rotor, so i have only to build the four pitch links and add them to the main rotor head. I also added mesh to the cabin air inlet.   6. Hello Guys !! During scratching the rotor blades and the main rotor blades of my Bell 412 (have a look in the GB-section) in resin (this parts have to dry) , i have begun a new project. I decided to convert the new (old) Revell Bell Jet Ranger 1:32 kit into a Bell Long Ranger. When the Bell is ready , it should have the old Ministry of the interior livery (OE-BXF). In this livery the Bell was used in the emergency medical service role, here in Austria. Here is the first photo, more will follow: more things to scratch: - medical interior - two doors with windows - the complete landing
  7. @ Smeders You have to take the round step of the Securite civile version , but the problem is , that there is only one in this kit. So you have to scratch one for the other side. I have the same problem , when building my Helitalia EC-145 (D-HDER). Greetings Michael

Today i could also add some details: - adding some decals on the sliding doors and installing them - adding the tail rotor after painting it - scratching the settling protectors on the landing skids - scratching the working lights above the sliding doors So the Bell 412 is nearing the finish line !!! A few points to do: - building the main rotor with its four blades - painting the blades in red-white coulor - scratching the winch - adding some antennas - adding some mesh to the cabin air inlet in the front of the engine cowling Greetings Michael -------------------------------

After some sanding and glueing the wire strike protection system , i could start my airbrush with Revell white gloss: Some things to do in the next days: - scratching the winch - scratching the lights above the sliding doors - building the main rotor and the blades with resin - drawing and printing the decals - painting some details Greetings Michael

Some points of mo to do list , i have done today: 1.) installing the second conversion part 2.) scratching the high landing skids , by using the skids from the kit and building the cross tubes with wire But there are a lot more things to do.   13. Update today: After finishing the medical interior , i glued together the two halves. I have already done some sanding. A first part of the conversion is already installed. Here some pics: Things to do in the next days: - installing the next conversion part - a lot more putty and also sanding (most of the rivets) - scratching the high landing skids - scratching the lights above the sliding doors - scratching the winch - adding the wire strike protection (included in the kit) - adding some scratched parts to the interior (sliding doors removeable) Next update tomorrow Greetings
  14. Hello ! It is time for a update on my Bell 412. Because of having no photos of interior details of this Bell 412 , i want to build , i have to do the medical interior from other helicopters of this type. Today i have installed the oxylog 2000 , that helps patients to breath , the EKG and the perfusors. The stretcher was taken from the EC-135 kit and the medical backpack from the EC-145 kit. The storage cabinet is scratched. next steps to do: - installing the seats (taken from BK-117 kit for the medical interior) , original seats in the cockpit - glueing together the two halves Greetin
  15. Today i could finish my first project for this group build. Basic kit was the Revell BO-105 PAH kit in 1/32. The kit was stretched to the CBS version by using plastic sheets. A few parts were taken from the EC-135 police kit and the BK-117 ADAC kit , both of Revell. and here together with its newest sister (EC-145) in the same colours of Police Thuringia: Greetings from Austria Michael

  17. Hello !! Because of finishing my BO-105 CBS Police project in the next few days , i want to show you my next project. Before i begin with my EC-145 Lee County , i have decided to build this project first. Basic kit for my newest project will be the new Dragon UH-1N. EC-145 , BK-117 and EC-135 kit parts will be added to build the medical interior. Some parts have also to be scratched , like the higher skids , the winch , some parts of the interior and , as biggest thing, the conversion , that makes a Bell 412 out of a Bell UH-1N.   18. Today i achieved some more points. All antennas are in their positions , the window on the left side also. Today i also scratched the flashing light on both sides and the mainrotor was completed and installed.   19. Hi !! Some update today. Today , i have scrachbuilt the windshield wipers and the wire strike protection system , by using some parts from the EC-145 kit and some plastic card. Also a few antennas were added. Only a few things more to do: - wiring the SX-16 and the FLIR - adding a few antennas - glueing the left window in its place - adding some parts to the mainrotor after painting some details - scratching the flash lights on both sides of the helicopter - adding some decals included in the kit Hope you like it.   20. @ Anthony in NZ The decals were drawn by a friend of mine (username ec-135 in this forum) according to photos from the internet and printed by a company in Germany. This was our second print there , after the decals for the Austrian Police Ecureuil (AS-355F/N) and we are very satisfied with the prints. Greetings from Austria
  21. Also a little update today: I installed the FLIR , the SX-16 and the tailrotor. I also shortened the mainrotor of an old BK-117 for 1,8cm on each blade. Things to do in the next few days: - wiring the SX-16 and the FLIR - completing the mainrotor - scratching the wire strike protection system (WSPS) - scratching the winshield wipers - building the landing light - painting some details (anti collision light , etc.) - bringing up some decals Hope you like what you see greetings Michael
  22. Hello ! Only a little update today. I scratched the exhaust pipes , because the pipes that are included in the kit are too small. I also painted the skids in black gloss. More pictures in the next days. Greetings Michael
  23. Hi ! Time to show the newest progress: Today i airbrushed the complete Helicopter with Revell silver. After some minutes the colour was dry and i could add the blue and red colours. The blue colour was also dry after an hour , so i could also fix some of the decals But there are some more things to do in the next few days (SX-16 , FLIR , boarding steps , main rotor , etc.).   24. Hello ! Today i added the seatbelts (made of Tamiya Tape) and after glueing the windows in their position i glued in the cockpit. After that i closed the cockpit with the winshield and built the rails for the sliding doors. I also added the loudspeakers (taken from the ADAC BO-105 kit) and scratched the aerodynamic covers of them with putty. I also installed the GPS sensor and scratched the landing light housing. - next step will be the colouring of the helicopter Greetings Michael
  25. Today i cut out the openings for the third window on each side and after that i installed the windows , made of transparent plastic sheet. After that i made the seats (3er seats of the BK-117 model) in the back of the helicopter. Then i coloured the cockpit. But now the pics (cockpit and skids are not already glued in their position): Hope you like it.
