  1. Pierre, Your reputation preceeds you Sir. I heard about this build from a friend of mine, how ever the pictured don't load anymore. Where can I get a copy of them.
  2. I plan to have the access door open, so at least the aft section needs to be done or least all the detail that can be seen from the tarmac so to speak. Also by doing the cabin I'll be giving some structural strength
  3. Thanks for the tip Old Man, I was also contemplating using a planking method similar to guys in the r/c world do. But any assistance or suggestions are welcome.
  4. It's been awhile since my last update. I seem o have hit a stumbling lock as far as moulding the fuselage halves. The concept of push moulding didn’t work too well. My first attempt ended up with the plastic all curled up (suspect oven might have been too hot?). The second attempt the plastic was not soft enough to push the mould through properly. So I tried steaming the plastic…………also didn’t work (So out of frustration I packed everything up and went to go n play Supreme Commander) :D . Yesterday I went to buy a heat gun. Which might work better? I will try again this weekend.
  5. It's going to be a king air 350, with an interior and detailed cockpit. Will post pictures as soon as I can find some decent ones.
  6. The fuselage formers are complete :) Now comes the task of filling & filing. Kaburaya, I will email you my master plan for the engine nacelle's tomorrow.
  7. The South African Air Force operate 200 & 300's out of Waterkloof AFB near Pretoria in South Africa. Will post pics after this weekend.
  8. Having been inspired by Kaburaya's Guardrail and EMB110 I have decided to give scratch building a go, Here are my progress pics so far: I brought the whole thing to work so that I could continue filing the fuselage formers down. Feel free to comment, any criticism welcome.
  9. I have been trawling these forums for awhile but never had the courage to post any projects. Well here goes, I started this build about a year ago, unfortunately real life interfered up and till now. ;) Comments good or bad are welcome, more to follow. My cockpit didn't turn out like I wanted it too More to follow soon :)
  10. I have the academy 1/48 P-47D Kit, you Jug build has inspired me to give it a go with a pastel wash for weathering.......mind you I might give it a try on my FW190. Again, stunning build you sir are an inspiration.
  11. kaburaya, you now have my interest up how do you go about building a plastic from scratch? I am keen to give it a try on a B200.
  12. Is that the Revell Bf110? I have one lurking in the dark corners of my workshop, but have never had the inspiration to start on it, but this build changes things slightly. I will watch in eager anticipation.
  13. Wow, you BF109 is stunning, good job.
