Hi everyone, I am preparing to build the Tamiya f-4j phantom in 1/32. I am going with squadron vf-151 vigilantes. For the upper half of the fuselage the paint color callout is Tamiya X-6:1 + X-8:1 which are colors orange and lemon yellow. I want to use enamels instead of acrylics. Which would be the appropriate color to look for? Thanks in advance :)

The interior bays,Lg,intake trunks,etc look to be the color Insignia white 1745 or camouflage gray 1733 when compared to Model Master paint charts.In which is the system ill be using. thanks a lot for the close up pics big help.

Thanks a lot for the help :). Another thing there is a call out for the color Interior Green inside of the avionics panels. Im thinking they are referring to the avionics boxes themselves. This sound correct?

Hi to all.I am currently building the 1/32 trumpeter ef-2000a typhoon. Trumpeter does not give paint codes in the manual for avionics bays,radome,etc. I have been online for awhile now and cannot find any good pics of these areas. I usually only build us fighters so im new to the color codes on such an aircraft. can someone give me colors for radome area,and avionics bays? thanks in advance.

also if the ca has not been opened your best bet is to keep in refrigerated as this keeps it fresh :D

when I am finished using ca adhesives I allow the ca to flow back down the tip .once it has reached the bottom I squeeze the bottle so that way it clears the tip. by doing this you are able to push/pull air pressure through tip. been doing it for years and 99% of the time it works. also if it should clog and depending the size hole in tip you have you can always push a t pin through it. hope this helps!
