  1. Hi, i'm looking for the instruction sheet for this F-16. if anyone who has completed this model with the sheet lying around, please sell or give it to me. i'll pay for the postage via paypal. i'm in singapore, thankx! i'm also looking for the bronze / brass p/e detail set for hercules C-130...i believe there such a set & the only set i've ever seen. i have a couple of italeri 848 vipers & a hase F-16D for sale too! all 1/48 stuff. interested please drop me a email @ rockinanko@yahoo.com.sg thankx alot!
  2. i once wanted to do a local blk52+ after visiting the airforce open house, just like you. but when i probed into the specs of the plane from the internet & coming up close to the real thing (i work in the airbase), i dropped the idea totally. why? it's just another sufa wearing local colors! every chaff, antenna & everything is exactly the same copy from the sufa! then i ask myself why should i build so hard to do a 'copy-cat'? since then i changed my plan of building a fleet of IDF F-16s instead... the same goes to the coming F-15SG, another copy-cat of the ra'am! (i maybe wrong
  3. well, we already know how much a hase hellenic 2-pit cost...unless you're confortable with that kinda pricing, the sufa will not be off too far. the yen conversion plays a part here too. but since i've already splash so much on the resin conversions from isracast, i won't be looking forward to it.
  4. personally, i think the rule of thumb for any kit is...as long as it's NOT from the kit, there bound to have some modifications to do for a perfect fit. seems to me i never encounter any resin seats that can sit properly in any of my 2-pit falcons without doing anything.
  5. ah, at last some balance of military might is achieved! never like one-sided match you know. hail stalin...hail roman...hail chelsea!!!
  6. Kudos to the IDF you have there! it's always nice to see them in photos or action! afterall, they are one of the top most active fighters in the world! sorry about those colorful birds for display only...in asian we called them 'vase'!!!
  7. EXCELLENT! another SUFA builder, ready to tackle this unique F-16 variant. nice photos too...i reckon everyone does have their own styles of building the kits. keep up the work dude, will be waiting here to see that masterpiece!
  8. Hi, ok...so i see you're gonna build the IDF sufa version of the F-16D... yes, most of the vendors have no stock for the sufa (F-16D blk52) decals. but i managed to locate a aussie online shop that still has them...i bought from them too. go to this website... http://www.themodellerschoice.com/ take a look at what they can offer on the sufa...abeit the F-16D blk52 (they are the same!) cheers!
  9. Hi, i was wondering if you have done anything to the intakes...i mean tunneling, full intakes!? cheers! marc
  10. hi, yes they are called CFM...conformal fuel tanks. if you're in to 1/48 you have cutting edge (best resin feel but $$$!), isracast (so-so but $$$!) or AEF designs (they come casted into the resin body & cheap!) currently there's hellenic, israeli & rsaf blk52s spotted with such tanks...there could be more. what you may have seen may be the UAE blk62s with not only CFM but tons of other antennas & bulges. suggest you search for more references first before deciding which one you're building... HTH marc
  11. Oops! i beg to differ from your statement bro... to my best knowledge, the F-15SG is the same as F-15i ra'am from israel. in fact, all our latest modern kites are extensively & similarly modified according to israel specs!
  12. hi i have some 1/48 f-16 spares here but i need to know what exactly you want... you have a sample photo to show me the tail?? marc
  13. Hi bro... watch it here...the spine is slightly out, on the right side from this photo angle...you may wanna trim that. cheers! F-16i builders
  14. Hi all! here's a photo of the F-16XL i'm struggling to build...no thankx to ATTIC!!!
  15. Hi! ok, for this instance...since the CCIP piece is small..i suggest you glue it on first before the 2 halves. unless you're doing a bigger resin piece like CFM, then you glue the halves first. i encountered much trouble when i glued the CFM tanks first onto the top fuselage of my F-16i, then fount out that the CFM tanks somehow 'warp' the fit flush when the bottom fuselage was introduced... now you roughly know how much CA i had to use, in order to 'counter warp' it!! see photo...
