Here it is done, minus the weapons (too lazy to actually paint them :unsure: )

Here is a pic of the tail from when I was building it. It is the new style, without the ECM fairing. I found the instructions, and it shows that both w/ and w/o styles are included.

I built this kit last year. It seems to me to be from around 1976-78 timeframe. I used the Aeromaster Hi-Vis VF-41 decals on it. Looking at Brown's book, it seems that it is the perfect match between kit and decals for the time frame. It has the early reinforcements on the vertical tails. I will take some pics showing you the tails and the beaver tail. Also, it came with the old style gun vents, though mine were really poor quality and it took some filling and shimming to get them to fit properly. Nick, I may have those parts. I will be able to let you know when I get home from work. I built an early F-14 from the Hase Bicentennial kit and closed the brakes. I can't remember if I tossed the box and spare parts when I moved or not. I'll let you know.

Count me in for a Hase 1/48th, haven't decided on version yet though. Probably an A in lo-vis VF-31 markings or possibly a D in hi-vis VF-31.
