  1. Hi everyone, The Tamiya 1:32 F-15C kit 60304 comes with only one drop/fuel tank. I'm planning to build a 32nd 'Wolfhounds' Eagle from AFB Soesterberg in the Netherlands of the early eighties. Almost all pictures I have at my disposal show the extra drop tanks. Are there any aftermarket drop tanks available. I cannot find any, onther than the Cutting Edge which are OOP, as Meteorprod does not even exist anymore. Also I read about the Revell 1:32 F-4E/F/G tanks? Could the two Tamiya 1:32 F-15E drop tanks (newly tooling (as I understand) be used for these? Are they the same? If yes, is th
  2. Hi Danny, I'll be the second in row to order multiple sets from you Danny. I,m using your F-16 stencilling decals right now on a block 5 RNLAF F-16 of leeuwarden AB and I must say they are of superb quality! Also wanted is the complete BAF F-16 fleet from the 80's till now like the DCD7239, DCD4839 and DCD3239 again. The same for the RNLAF squadrons from the colourful squadron badges in the 80's to the low-vis markings on the MLU planes. All decal providers like yourself, flevodecals.nl and dutchdecal always seem to go for the extreme schemes of tiger meets and special markings. I know at le

  4. Hi Eric, Would you be willing to sell the other half of the decals set, as I'm thinking of building the 'mors ex tenebris' (death from the dark) version?
  5. Hi Yufei, Can I still order a single and two seat version of the 1:48 SU-27 canopies? I hope I'm not too late? Thanks, Frank.
  6. Hi Zactoman, I tried to lay my hands on an AIM-9J/N/P of former Cutting Edge on eBay: http://www.ebay.nl/itm/190596358485?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1431.l2649 Unfortunatley, it has already gone up to over $70!!! Shows how bad we need your missiles! I also asked Dmitri of DMOLD, but he does not seem to have the time for some nice full US missile range in 1:32 :-(. Thanks, Frank.
  7. Hi all, Recently I saw the Cutting Edge (of former Meteorworks company) B-25B Acc. Miniatures corrected cowlings being sold on eBay for around $95. No need to spend such amounts on such cowlings anymore as they're back in stock at DMOLD Modelworks again. Owner DMitri Malkov, who made lots of resin aftermarket parts for Accurate Miniatures in the past, has put them back in stock on his DMOLD website: http://www.dmold-modelworks.com/contents/en-us/d2_01.html. I've just ordered my set. Cheers, Frank.
  8. Hi, Is the gallery server down? I cannot view any airplane. Error 404: NOT FOUND!The server cannot find the document corresponding to the URL you typed in. Thanks, Frank.
  9. Hi all, Who can miss their (all four) HASEGAWA or HOBBY BOSS F/A-18 underwing pylons (BRU-33 VER or vertical ejector racks) (4 pices) & sway braces (8 pieces)? I don't know about the part and/or sprue numbers, but I guess you all know which parts I mean? Ofcourse willing to pay well for them and shipping. Thanks, Frank.
  10. I'm in for the whole range of US and Russian 1:32 range of weapons as I think they're not represented not often and not well enough in the aftermarket. They are available in the 1:32 trumpeter and academy kits of I believe the F-16 etcetera, but they're too crude. Take the GBU-12 for example. The Black Box offering (not available anymore) was a warm and superb replacement. AMRAAM's are to my knowledge only available from Flightpath, but you have to solder/superglue all those metal etched parts together, while I prefer resin, as it's easier to handle than that hard metal. So enough marke
  11. Hi Frank, Nice Paintwork! Where do you get the decals for the Soesterberg version? Thanks, Frank Wouts.
  12. Hi, I'm still looking for 2B 48048 F/A-18D ATARS sheet for makeing the 'Mors Ex Tenebris' ATARS Hornet. Haven't found anything around the globe. Also saved search on eBay hasn't given up any results... Perhaps contacting TwoBobs of us alltogether might help? Thanks, Frank.
  13. I'd like to preorder tow single and two double seat canopies and accesoires... Where can I donate the money?
  14. Hi, @Pigsty, Thanks, that gives me some peace of mind... @LanceB, LOL, that would indeed mean a lot of sanding dust if they'd be that streamlined... @Hawkey's Hobbies, thanks for the peace of mind too. @loftycomfort, I agree, but as I live in Holland, we have plenty of fresh water and it costs almost nothing here (yet), it's almost as cheap as the air we breath... Thanks all, Frank.
  15. Hi all, I would like to rise a topic that's hot, specially in Europe here where I live, namely the environment. Ofcourse in combination with 'plastic' or polystyrene modelling. I always sand my models or parts of them in the bathroom sink. I have very good lighting there, I can sand wet and even with with the water running over my model if needed or at least parts of it and I get rid of the polystyrene or resin dust right away. Of course everything is cleaned very thouroghly afterwards. I'm always wondering if this isn't bad for the environment. Depending on your country, location, type of
  16. Hi Spit1a, Very goog looking all of them and you finished lots more than I did in 2010...
  17. Looking with my yaw hanging down on my chest I'm reading these posts on this FA2 Sea Harrier, but what has happened to this project? Isn't it finished or continued yet?
  18. Chris, Glad there's at least some response. With these great pictures it should not be more difficult than your L/M's and D/G/H's? I'm planning to build some F-16A block 10 and 15 of the RNLAF (Dutch) air force. Also the X version Alexander is proposing would be very welcome indeed! Perhaps we can pre-order ? Thanks and cheers, Frank.

    AIM-9P

Hi Chris, Already asked you through email if there would be any chance of you also bringing out an AIM-9P and any other older versions of the Sidewinder missile in 1:32 scale. Also I'd like to poll fellow modelers who are like me, not much of a scratch builder, or certainly not of the high level like Chris, if there's any more marked for these types of sidewinders in 1:32, besides the lovely AIM-9D/G/H already available. Thanks, Frank.
  20. Wow, they're going to be great correction sets! I would like to order two copies as well if possible, two single and two double seaters! Frank.
  21. Hi, Thanks for the info, that´s surely helps, though numbering is a bit vage and for stenciling I´ll have to look further or look for aftermarket stenciling. Thanks, Frank.
  22. Hi everyone, Bought the Academy 12102 F-18C hornet 'Iraqi Freedom' on eBay, but on opening the box there are missing build instructions. Calling the importer of Academy in Holland, UK, Germany or whole of Europe, does not give any solutions, as they all say the box is OOP. Anyone that has build, is building or is planning to build this one that can provide me with a copy, or even better, is willing to sell me the original build instructions? Thanks, Frank.
  23. Thanks guys, I understand superglue isn't as super as I thought it would be. It fractures on your models as well I understand. So only use it on smaller parts that just have to stay in place is a goof first basic rule? But what about the resin cockpit tubes connecting to the plastic fuselage halfs then? Degreasing, perhaps very light sanding to provide and adhesive structure? Thanks, Frank.
  24. Hi Alessio! All looking great your US Navy collection! Looking forward to see your Hobby Boss F-18 between them. I only miss the the 1:48 AMT-ERTL ES-3 Shadow you bought from me. Any idea when you're planning that one to build?
