  1. I did not know Cahito's work, while I have extensively searched this website over the years his name does not ring a bell. I am saddened as all of you to hear that a tragic accident has taken the life of this individual. I hope that peace will find his family and I hope that he is in a better place, and I also believe in the after life. Take care Cahito. Sorry and you will be missed.
  2. ViperTomcat where are you getting the markings for this aircraft? I would like to get a set myself.
  3. Guys Sorry, I have to bail out of this one. I joined several months ago. I have been tied up with other things and will not make the deadline. I need to get some other things done before I can tackel this small project. I have very minimal done to these two planes and there just isn't enough time left. I am still getting used to being back in this hobby after a long absence so I am not skilled enough at this time to finish in the time allotted. Sorry and best wishes to all.
  4. Holy molly please post more images. Thanks. I can't wait to see her finished.
  5. Peter, Peter, Peter you outdid yourself sir. Nice Job that is all I can say. I have that kit and messed up the nosecone, have not had a chance to get another one. Well done lad.
  6. Sweet job on Virginia Marie, nice work man. Keep them coming.
  7. I also offer my distrust in the Hasegawa kit. While usually Hasegawa gets it right, this time they got it wrong. While I usually prefer the Hasegawa kits this one is not very good. The fast packs are ok but the bomb racks are inaccurate. They give you a nice set of bombs which is unuasual for any Hasegawa kit but they really do not give you a good look at a Strike Eagle. While the overall kit isn't as nice by Revell in this case it is a better option.
  8. While I do not have photos yet, assembled both wings and cocpits. The cocpits were airbrushed yesterday and should be hand painted and installed by the weekend. Hope all is well. Talk to everyone later. I am also working on a trio of 1/32 scale aircraft that need to be finished by the end of March so I can bring them to the show in Chicopee MA on the 25th. So right now most of my focus is there.

  10. Hey hows it going everyone? I am sorry things didn't work out for me with the Tomcat Sunset build, but I have more time and knowledge of this one so I am going to give it another shot. I have two Hasegawa Scooters one F model and one M model. Both are in 1/48 scale and one will be Lady Jesse and the the other I think will be from VMF-214 the Blacksheep. Ok I don't know much about the Scooter, can anyone help me on possible armament combinatioins? I have several of Hasegawa's weapons sets, two D' (although I know those won't help, and one each of A and B I think. I would like to use some

  15. OK guys I am getting restless. I joined this GB because I had one already started with FSM. I am in the USMC Group Build over there and am doing my pair of Hornets for this GB as well. Well I have one Hasegawa F/A-18A and one Hasegawa F/A-18C both in 1/48 scale. Those two are the only Hornets I have at this time. I am looking for the decals from the original release for the C model from Hasegawa, I think it is kit number P26? If you have them and are willing to part with them let me know ASAP and I do mean ASAP. I only have until the end of July to finsih the birds so I am at crunch time. I ha
  16. I am currently working on a pair of Hasegawa Hornets in 1/48 scale. I have been working on them for the USMC Group Build on FSM. One is an A model the other a C. I need decals for the C but I think that someone has a set for me already. The other one is going to be done in the paint scheme from Twobobs nice Patriot set with VMFA-115 I think. They should both be nice. I just need to hear from the individual who has those decals I am looking to use the set from the standard C release in that scale. I do not wan't to use the set from Aeromaster as I am not ready to do one like that yet. These nee
