Howdy folks. I'm building this for a friend, who specializes in display models. He's great at painting big airliner stuff on stands, but he preferred to ask me to build this one for him. I searched everywhere for 3D interior decals for the Mk IXc, but they were all out of stock - both Quinta and Red Fox. After some research, though, I found that the cockpits of the Mk IXc and Mk XVI are almost identical. So, I bought two Quinta interior decals for Mk XVI. Why two? Because I have the Mk XVI kit to build. I plan to make it right after this one. I plan to do the cover version. Johnie J

Hey All, I see there are a few Quinta sets coming for the Meng F-4G. I have the Meng kit, but the Quinta sets state that they are for an 'early' or 'late' Meng F-4G. Am I missing something, or can the Meng F-4G kit be built as as 'early' or 'late' version, or are the differences between early and late completely covered in the Quinta decal sets? I'm going to get a Quinta set for my Meng jet, just at this point, I'm not which one(s) would be appropriate. Any thoughts?

I have all 3 kits on order, and will arrive this coming Saturday, but no cockpit enhancements for any of them. Is there any word in any previews about 3D cockpits for those 3 planes by Quinta, or even Red Fox or Eduard Space? I've gotten to the point that I don't even want to consider a jet cockpit unless there are 3D vinyl aftermarket sets for them. How quickly I've become completely spoiled! I really don't even want to consider Eduard color photo etch panels, but if that was the ONLY thing available, i'd at least see how good the PE looks.

Maybe the knowledgeable people of this forum can give me informed advice. I just got a set of Quinta 3D cockpit panels for the F/A-18(A) today and started my next Kinetic CF-188. After doing some research, I am thinking that they got the color wrong on their decals, as all sources I find, claim that the F-18 (and most other US jets) have their cockpits painted in FS36231 (which was also the color, I used in my first CF-188). The Quinta panels look way too light for that, closer to FS36375 to my eye. So, I am inclined to paint the rest of the cockpit in 36375, to match the

I plan on building both a 1/32 KH Mirage 2000 single and dual seat versions for the Indian air force Anyone have suggestions on which Quinta Studio decals I should use for those builds?

Just curious of your opinions on how they look and how they stand up to PE for seats.

what's the difference for these cockpit panels? which is best?

Hi All, Perhaps a stupid question, but here goes. I have several P-51D kits, several from Eduard including their Royal Class and the first one they came out with, Chattanooga Choo Choo. I'd like to get a Quinta cockpit set for a few of these, but Quinta has what they call an 'Early' set (QD 48065), and a 'Late' set (QD 48069). I wonder if any of you know to which P-51D blocks these 2 sets are applicable to. Thanks for any help.

I'm interested in using this set for the cockpit of the Hasegawa F/A-18F, planned to be a straight F for VFA-103. The set is labelled as for "Late F and EA-18G", but then says for "Hasegawa EA-18G only". The only differences from the EA-18G and F/A-18F I can see in the cockpit is the read instrument panel, but these pieces appear very similar. Is this Quinta basically saying it's for Hasegawa kits, or is it truly only for the EA-18G boxing? Unfortunately they don't seem to have a website or contact that I could contact directly.

I got a Quinta Studios cockpit detail set for my Hasegawa F16D because I'm so lousey painting cockpit details. Has anyone else used them amd any advice on them before I use them?

These things are decals, but not totally like decals. Does anyone have experience yet to comment if applying to a glossy surface is necessary for good adhesion like regular decals? The instructions don't mention gloss or not, but recommend using PVA to improve adhesion. So not sure what to think for the gloss coat.

what blocks would the Quinta F-16 cockpit decals work for? Thanks

I'm wanting to build a Sunliner F-18 from Desert Storm. I'm just wondering if they were still F-18A's or if they were early C's or AA+ models. Thanks
