Good Afternoon, I'm looking for parts 69 and 70 from the Minicraft C-130J-30 Super Hercules kit, the are the landing gear sponson extensions. Those parts are not required for that kit, as the extended sponsons are molded into the fuselage, and should be in somebody's spares box. This is a build for a friend, which was started at the end of October. The Crown Lancaster is a very old kit, the Minicraft Dak a bit more modern. I've built both of these kits before and the different ages of the kits show in the quality of the design, mouldings and fit. This isn't a bad kit, although I believe the conning tower is a bit inaccurate. It makes up into a reasonably sized model that looks pretty good. I decided on a North Korean submarine after seeing some picture of Kimmy boy riding on one. I liked the green top colour, I have no idea what the anti-fowling paint colour was, but a wine red colour seemed plausible enough. I had a bit of fun with weathering, I figured these things would be pretty battered, they are over 50 years old afterall.

Building a C-135A from the 1/144 Minicraft KC-135A. Between the nose wheel bay and the wings, on the model are molded two “strakes” on the bottom of the fuselage. What are they? Are they only on tankers? I cannot find photos of Stratolifters, early ones at least, with these strakes. I am building a C-135A with the early Arctic orange/red nose, wing and tail band. So i have just had the roden 1/144 vc10 delivered today and much to my amazement there are no parts for inflight refuelling! Does anyone know of any after market refuling "Baskets" that would be suitable for the VC-10 Refeuling 2 Typhoons?

Hi gents! My little Dragon Seahawk in 1/144 is nearly done (picture below) and I decided not to mount the torpedos on the helicopter. Since they are included in the kit I thought about presenting them on a loading cart. I searched the net but wasn't lucky. Do you have informations about loading carts for torpedos? Are there different types used on aircraft carriers and othe ship types? The SH-60B uses Mk.46 torpedos, right?

AKA The Queen Of The Skies. Kit is from Zvezda in 1/144, very good engineering and fit but with very bad decals which doesn’t fit the kit in most places due to the intricate nature of the aircrafts paint scheme.
