Hello folks this is Tamiya's stug3b built oob. usual tamiya, built was a breeze, working suspension was a real nice touch but of course the vinyl tracks are letting down. anyway the model isn't mine and i was asked not to do any kind of weathering, tho there is still panel fading, drybrushing and pinwashes. enjoy.

Finally calling her done. Build complete entirely OOB. If i am to build this fella again aftermarket items this one could really benefit are (in no order): stowage baskets, tow cables, tracks.

Hey guys, quite a while back my friend wanted me to build him a monstrous KV-2. But instead of a typical Russian green, he wanted something unusual. A what if "German captured it, and repainted to their needs" The kit was quite a pleasure to work with, and after a few weeks, the beast was done.

This is Tamiya's Leo2a5 will be finished as a Bundeswehr mbt in the usual 3 tone natoflage. It took about 3 nights to get to this stage as you can see the hull required putty (gunze dissolved) and sanding. Surface feels smooth enough despite the appearance, we'll see how i fared with the surface finish after a good coat of primer of course. Except a couple of details like the spare tracks/grousers on the glacis and the axles the hull is complete. I'll move on to the turret now.

Tamiya's 1/35 Mutt, really lovely kit. Except the Garand on the lap of Tom it's as it is OOB Base is balsa wood painted and wx with oil paints. Grass is Model Scene early summer with various Gale Force foliage coupled with pigments and lil stones from the beach.

Finally calling her done, looking at the pix the rear door inside could need a bit more dust which i'll take care but apart from that part it's done for. Wooden planks are outta balsa wood, everything is else is completely OOB. WiP topic HERE

This is Tamiya’s 1/35, probably an Opel Blitz but it’s not mentioned anywhere. Basecolor was tamiya’s dark grey lightened up with white and blue. On top of it winsor newton Davy gray was heavily applied as a filter. I am counting on it getting even more darker with subsequent clear coats and weathering.

So far it's a Tamiya kit, nothing else need be said. :) Zimmerit is via milliput and screwdriver, pattern and directions are iaw the instruction and ref sheet Tamiya is providing. In hindsight Tamiya's own Zimmerit coating set for this particular model should be easier imho because milliput is time consuming due to the intricate details on the surfaces and i'm not sure if it's going to be a cheaper option in the end due to the waste... Alas i have started with milliput so this one will have to finish with it.
