  1. Mongo's Massive Stash Sell-Off continues... We resume today with: (Almost) EVERYTHING Messerschmitt! But first the disclaimers... ROE: Price: The price I paid is your price. Some prices are below my cost and are adjusted to be competitive with eBay and Amazon. If you find the exact item on-line by a "real" retailer (Sprue Brothers, Squander, Hannants, etc. - eBay "stores" etc. don't count) for less (their regular discounted price) I'll beat it by 10%. Consideration given to multiple purchases. Offers entertained, insults ignored. Prices in USD. First p
  2. Hobbytime 1/48 F-4E 2020 Terminator kit... clean built for kit box side photos… enjoy 🙂
  3. Gday everyone, first build post from me in a LOOOOOONG time. Let's see if I can finish this one! Roden's T-28 came up cheap on internet auction site, and was promptly added to the stash. A current mood mojo of 1/48 trainers saw the trojan making it's way promptly to the bench. The kit is.... rough. Very nice detailing, albeit buried under plenty of flash. HEAVY scribed panel lines, ordinary fit and the decals. Ugh the decals. More on them later. I'm using photo bucket for pic transfer and I'm not sure how the quality of the pics will be on these pages. Com
  4. This is my Dragonfly as used in Vietnam in the '60's. It's a special kit for me because I graduated in the Air Force Academy in his older and less powerful brother, the T-37C. Nice little bird though. I wish they had a kit for it, for conversion from this one should be very demanding. I've used PE parts and the painting was free hand, since masking was very tricky for this scheme. Hope you enjoy! Cheers! George ps: the chart over the panel is a 1:250.000 of South Vietnam, of course.....
  5. Hi! Here my latest work. Additions-Xdecal, Eduard brass, Pilot pitot, Armory wheels, Quickboost small intakes & antennaes I tried to make the faded appearance. Hope You like it

  7. Hi there, I know, as if we're missing more '109s around here. But, for me, this one is special, my first motling attempt. I tried to be as close as possible to the manual and I'm happy with it. Hope you'll enjoy! This one was Oberleutnant Anton Hafner machine, in which he scored 204 kills and was, in turn, killed, when collided with the ground, while trying to evade his opponents. Cheers!

  10. Anyone familiar with this kit? Is it any good at all? Is the shape at least relatively accurate? I know it is an old kit and there are better kits but tis "may NOT" mean that it is still not a good kit. I have put together a lot of old kits that were still good models.

  12. I would like to promote my new 1/48 3D LM so I have decided to build it. Since I already have the 1/32 CSM flying with Mike above the 1/32 LM on the Moon for the very first step of Neil, I have decided to build both spacecraft attached as in lunar orbit. This is a model I built about 50 years ago, originally all white but modified through the years. The new model will incorporate my 3D printed LM and the CSM from Realspace along with a complete new stand for the Apollo celebration I just started the model with the descent stage, this will depict
  13. Good day folks, My second post after a long long time in lurk mode. Kit is a Tamiya 1/48 f-16cj. Constructing the basic block 50 of one of the birds in Misawa. Has been done by people before me by the hundreds, but here is another. This first post of the WIP is some pics I documented up until now. The aircraft is waiting for further progress (ie. When the wifey takes a few days to do lady things with her friends). Off topic: she doesnt know I have an airbrush and compressor. Its hidden inside the bed on the side without the drawers. If shes here, no big paintwork.
  14. Hi all, I'm currently working on my KH 1:48 AH-1Z, and am in the process of adding some detail to it - I've never liked having open photoetched screens with nothing behind them, and on the Cobra, there are a couple that are particularly obvious, because you can see daylight through them. As such, I want to avoid having an empty hole on my model, so I'm looking for photos of what's behind these particular grates: I don't necessarily need extreme detail, but I'd like to at least get an idea of what's behind them, particularly the general location of the structure inside (e.g. is it a

  25. Thought I should start this one, as a in-between-other-stuff project. More emphasis will be given to the external surfaces and I will try to stay away from any complex additions etc... So, I begun with adding a few panel lines and creating some stretched metal effect.
