  4. Hi all! Well, it's that time again... Another finished project! This time it is the 1/48 Hobby Boss Su-30MKM Flanker-H conversion from the base Su-30MKK kit using the Naza Model Art MKM conversion. The build WIP thread can be viewed here: The Su-30MKM is the Malaysia specific variant of the Su-30, based off of the Indian Su-30MKI. It has canards and thrust vectoring exhaust in common with that aircraft, however there are many things that make the MKM unique among Flankers. It utilizes western avionics from France and South Africa, and many feature not seen on
  5. Hi comrades! Here is my take on Hasegawa excellent kit with additions by Eduard brass, Montex and self made masks, and scratch made wiring for engine, undercarriage and bomb. Airframe riveted. Hope, You like it! Any comments are welcome!
  6. Hi all! Back again with my latest completed project, the Kinetic Su-33 Sea Flanker. This is a model I have wanted to build for quite some time, and a quarterly contest with my local IPMS club (John Glenn, Cleveland) gave me the excuse I needed to start this one. The contest theme was "I've Got the Blues", which was to build something that was predominantly blue. I am happy to say this model won first place! By now I am sure you have heard much about this kit. It is complex. The detail is fantastic. Accuracy is pretty good. The instructions are, well, really bad.

  8. Hello, I am looking for 16 1/48 M117 750 lb bombs and 3 Multiple Ejector Racks (MERs) for an F-105D project. I know there are several aftermarket choices for both, but buying the quantity of Brassin bombs I need would mean a second mortgage, so if anyone has some spare M117s, that would be greatly appreciated. I will gladly pay a reasonable price plus shipping. Thank you in advance! Justin

  11. Mongo's Massive Stash Sell-Off continues... We resume today with: (Almost) EVERYTHING Messerschmitt! But first the disclaimers... ROE: Price: The price I paid is your price. Some prices are below my cost and are adjusted to be competitive with eBay and Amazon. If you find the exact item on-line by a "real" retailer (Sprue Brothers, Squander, Hannants, etc. - eBay "stores" etc. don't count) for less (their regular discounted price) I'll beat it by 10%. Consideration given to multiple purchases. Offers entertained, insults ignored. Prices in USD. First p
  12. This is my Dragonfly as used in Vietnam in the '60's. It's a special kit for me because I graduated in the Air Force Academy in his older and less powerful brother, the T-37C. Nice little bird though. I wish they had a kit for it, for conversion from this one should be very demanding. I've used PE parts and the painting was free hand, since masking was very tricky for this scheme. Hope you enjoy! Cheers! George ps: the chart over the panel is a 1:250.000 of South Vietnam, of course.....
  13. Hi! Here my latest work. Additions-Xdecal, Eduard brass, Pilot pitot, Armory wheels, Quickboost small intakes & antennaes I tried to make the faded appearance. Hope You like it

  15. Accurate Miniatures /48 scale kit, built OOB aside form the Infini antennae wire. Fiddly at points but otherwise an enjoyable build.
  16. Hi there, I know, as if we're missing more '109s around here. But, for me, this one is special, my first motling attempt. I tried to be as close as possible to the manual and I'm happy with it. Hope you'll enjoy! This one was Oberleutnant Anton Hafner machine, in which he scored 204 kills and was, in turn, killed, when collided with the ground, while trying to evade his opponents. Cheers!
  17. Hi guys, Long shot I know, but I'm looking for the following decal sheets if anyone has them to spare: 1/48 TwoBobs 48026 - F-15E 'Mountain Home Avengers' 1/72 Caracal 72058 - B-52H Stratofortress If anyone can help, please drop me a PM. Thanks Dave
  18. I would like to promote my new 1/48 3D LM so I have decided to build it. Since I already have the 1/32 CSM flying with Mike above the 1/32 LM on the Moon for the very first step of Neil, I have decided to build both spacecraft attached as in lunar orbit. This is a model I built about 50 years ago, originally all white but modified through the years. The new model will incorporate my 3D printed LM and the CSM from Realspace along with a complete new stand for the Apollo celebration I just started the model with the descent stage, this will depict

  21. Hi all, I'm currently working on my KH 1:48 AH-1Z, and am in the process of adding some detail to it - I've never liked having open photoetched screens with nothing behind them, and on the Cobra, there are a couple that are particularly obvious, because you can see daylight through them. As such, I want to avoid having an empty hole on my model, so I'm looking for photos of what's behind these particular grates: I don't necessarily need extreme detail, but I'd like to at least get an idea of what's behind them, particularly the general location of the structure inside (e.g. is it a
  22. Hi- Just got an '80s NOS Monogram 1/48 F-104C via eBay, which dropped with the colorful 479th scheme and the SEA camo 'Smoke II" decal sheet. Unfortunately the OEM sheet is way out of register, with much of the print off the carrier and on the backing sheet. So I've been looking for Kursad's benchmark F-104C in Vietnam sheet and it is non-existent at pretty much all online and bricks-mortar shops... Sprue Bros, Hannants and others overseas... forget it. Does anyone have the partial sheet they'd be willing to part with, after finishing your chosen subject? Name your p

  25. F/S Italeri boxing A-20B-Boston III 1/48 scale. Kit is complete and unstarted box is in very good open condition decals are excellent. Also included is the AMT boxing of the A-20G gun nose gunship. Box is open in worn condition. The kit is missing decals and 1/2 of the tail. Otherwise complete. If you are a good modeler which I am not, you could possibly make the piece that's missing to match the other piece that is present out of card or cast it off the piece from the complete Boston kit or find someone who can get you a trashed kit or make a diorama with a tarp over it. LOL 27.00
