I have the beautiful 1/72 Sword T-38C kit at home which comes with photo edged parts for the upgraded instrument panels. But I am looking to build a T-38A. In this kit, photo edged instrument panels are also provided but for the dial and gauges panels of the A. Anybody willing to trade? Thanks Michael

Happy Easter and good afternoon, I'm taking a look at my 1/72 scale Hasegawa F-20, and the external fuel tanks included in the kit, both underwing and centerline do not look right shapewise or size. The centerline tank looks much too long and skinny, and while the underwing tanks look better, they do not have the right upturned tail section as I see on those F-20 pictures that I have found. Can anybody provide me with accurate measurements for those large tanks? The seem to be the same tanks used by both the F-20 and the F-5E. Barring that, those tanks inclu

Alright, I finally decided on what to build for this Group Build. After toying with a rather dissapointing Italeri A-26C, and not being sure if a FB-111A would fit into the GB, I have picked the A-7E Corsair. I will be building two at the same time, one will be a US Navy VA-146 one, from 1971 on the USS Constellation, and the other one will be a Hellenic Air Force one, in the SEA scheme. Kits of choice will be the Fujimi ones. I have sprayed some grey on the cockpit bits, photos will be posted once my camera battery has been charged, and when Photobucket gets its act together.

My build for the Helicopter GB is the 1/72 Tamiya OH-58A, with markings from Print Scale for a red & white Kiowa. I'll be building this OOB, as I plan to use the GB to clear some small items from my stash. So far I have the interior bits prepped and sprayed with primer, and will upload a pic of the finished cabin as soon as I can.

In the middle of last year, despite only limited flying experience, I got to fly and land a Ryan PT-22 based a few hours from me. This was my first landing flying anything, never mind a WW2 taildragger!! I'd love to build a model of the aircraft I flew, but don't want to spend a fortune, so figured the 1/72 scale Special Hobby version would be ideal, only to find out it seems to be out of production I'm in the United Kingdom, so ideally, looking for one available in the UK, as shipping from abroad could be a bit steep. Does anyone have a kit they are happy to part with?

Good Morning, I'm fully aware of the problems with the kit, but I'm willing to do some kitbashing and correcting to come up with a decent F-16XL in 1/72 scale. Does anybody have one in the stash that they'd be willing to part with? I know that there are a couple on Ebay right now, but they are going for $40-50, and the kit is just not worth that much. Thank you for looking! Cheers, Hoops

Hello, I'm currently working on the 1/72 Fujimi A-7E, which will be done in VA-146 markings on the USS Constellation in 1971/72. I did some searching earlier on the Waveguide and ECM duct on the side of the fuselage, which shouldn't be added on my build, when I read something about the electronics blister between the main gear bays under the fuselage. Apparently the one that's in the kit wasn't there on early A-7E's? But instead there was a different fairing, which was placed off centre? Does anyone have a bit more info about this, preferably with some images?

Hello All, I have no doubt that this has been asked many times, but I find myself in need of some specific custom made markings for a current and a few upcoming projects. They amount to really some aircraft serial #'s a couple of solid color strips and a command crest .. in 1/72nd ... Is that anyone out there that is currently making or offering custom decal work that is reasonable ? Robert

After finally finishing the MiG-25RBF conversion, I've finally gotten around to building Zvezda's 1/72 MiG-29. I don't know if it's just me, but this kit practically snaps together, and with little seam lines to show for it. It seems like it'll need a fraction of the filler than your usual kit needs, let alone ICM's MiG-29 9-13. I don't know how it compares to Great Wall Hobby's 1/48 9-13 (mine is still collecting dust, sadly) but this kit is a breeze so far. I haven't seen much in the way of completed builds, though. Probably not looking hard enough.
