  1. I dont see any topics on this new bird here. OK it is not a MiG-29 or the legendary MiG-15 but still it played an important part in history. It was annonced at the very start of this year that Airfix is doing a completely new tool MiG-17F version in 72nd scale. Few CAD images were shown at the time. WIth a month later more images were shared by Airfix including an article on the kits development here: https://www.airfix.com/uk-en/news/workbench/early-classic-jet-project-for-young-airfix-designer Unfortunately it did raise some more questions. The MiG
  2. Not so much as a build but more as a look at the actual plastic now that it is at hand. A lot has been said before based on what was shown by FineMolds over the past year of the making this new kit. Now there is a chance to have a look at the plastic parts first hand. I am surprised that there are virtually no builds of the kit apart from Japanese forums, where many have been completed and painted. After all so far mostly Japanese special schemes were issued. Here are some photos of the plastic for everyone to judge for themselves. One b
  3. There is not much to add to this news from Modelsvit page: Dear Fellows, Following your requests, We're glad to announce that designing process of Mirage 2000 (1/72 scale) is under way... The news is excellent and judging by the Mirage III kit this one should be just as good! Thank you Modelsvit! Best regards Gabor
  4. An interesting answer from Mr. Sulc (the boss of Eduard) on a Czech modelling forum (can I mention other forums here or is it a no-no area like on other forums?). :)) He was asked about plans for MiG-21 SMT, R and bis versions in 72nd scale. The short answer was: Zatím na to žádný časový horizont nemáme. in G. translation : We do not have any time horizon yet. or in another interpretation: Yet it is no timeframe we have. As far as it is known for the moment only the PF and PFM versions are in the pipe line with release very late this
  5. I dont know if this has been shown already or not. Fresh announcement from Zvezda for a brand new 72 nd scale Sukhoy Su-57 fighter. Look at the engine exhausts! It is a completely new tool kit with all the latest additions and using the available data. At last we can forget for good that “strage” kit of the T-50 from way back in 2011. Just hope that they will do the same up-scale to 48 th as they did with the Yak-130. Best re
