Hi guys, I just got a Dora Wings Bf109A/B and I wanted to build it as an A model during the Spanish Civil War. The instructions call for "Silberweiss", but I'm not sure what this colour looked like or how to obtain it. I don't think it was just plain silver, according to some builds I've seen online. Would it look like the modern RAL 9006 (White Aluminium? Maybe a bit lighter. Any idea? TIA, Ricardo

I'm looking for a pair of JG.1 red and white unit emblems in 1/48 to go on a Bf 109 G-10. Let me know if you have a pair to spare. This is what I'm looking for!

Here is the first model off the bench for 2018! It is the delightful-to-build Eduard Bf 109G-2 (Profipack) finished in markings for Hannes Trautloft, CO of JG54 in the summer of 1942. The camouflage scheme really appealed to me and that’s why I built the model. Colors are Gunze lacquers, RLM 70, 02, 78, and 312 (pale green). I used Eduard Brassin sets for the wheels, propeller assembly, and cannon gondolas. There are more Eduard 109’s in my future, that’s for sure!

After a long hiatus, I decided to get back into model building. I have just started a Tankbuster Stuka (I think a G Model). Revell S5270. My painting has always been lacking but we'll see how I do. Down the road I would like to make a diorama of a crew performing maintenance on an aircraft, I was thinking a BOB (Battle of Britain) theme with a Mk I Spitfire or Hurricane or even a BF 109E. Any kits you all recommend for a cutaway to the engine? How do you do those types of cutaways? I assume after market resins of the engines and some serious custom work? Any advice on kits, resins

Hi guys, I just got Eduard's/AK Interactive Bf109E-1/3 in 1/48th scale and I was wondering if it's possible to build the whole engine and put the engine cover on (without glue) and remove it to show the engine whenever I want, or if, instead, building the whole engine will make it impossible to put the engine cover on. The instructions are not 100% clear. I think it's possible, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance.
