I have a Hasegawa Ld5 Singapore 747 Jumbo 1/200 model factory sealed from 1987. The funny thing is that UNDERNEATH the factory sealed plastic, the word "Boeing" is crossed out with what appears to be silver model paint. Was there a trademark issue? This is the only one I have seen with the word "Boeing" crossed out. Thanks!

I started this build many years ago when I got a cheap partially assembled ACE (Revell) 1/144 767-300 kit with Liveries Unlimited partial EVA decals. I cut it down to a 200, sourced a radar dome from a Revell E-3A AWACS kit , sprayed some medium gray paint on some parts and promptly put it back in the box in preparation for one of my many moves about 20 years ago. I have decided to not buy any new kits this year (fingers crossed) and complete some or most of my hangar queens. The fact that CTA (Russia) released a resin conversion kit with decals prompted me to decide that this will be proje

My first airliner build that I did for a little Group Build challenge over on Airliner Civil Aircraft Modeller. I used the stand from an Tamiya Spitfire and decals from Airliners Unlimited that I got from Hannetts for less than 2 quid. As you can see I had a little trouble with the tail decal, I had to cut out the name and apply it over the painted tail as the decal shattered. I also masked and painted the cheat line rather than use the decal supplied. I also think airliners just look better 'in flight'.

Hello friends Here I show you the Chinook helicopter version CH-47A. I had to scratch a support to place the folded blades for not having enough space. The models are from the Trumpeter brand at 1/35 scale, which in my opinion comes very well detailed. If a partner wants details about the support of the blades he writes me. Greetings and I hope you like it https://youtu.be/cORriK4ePvk

I just finished up the Anigrand 1/72 YC-14, It's one big chunk of resin. Comes in just over 22 inches in length. Typical Anigrand kit, clean castings but has some shape and fit issues. Due to the shear size of the model it had to be built to put on a stand. I gotta go back to building smaller models....

Hi guys, I need the help of the ARC-Community. I've recently purchased a second-hand 1/72 AMT RC-135V and plan to convert her into a RC-135E Rivet Amber. While looking for photos of the machine I noticed that the wings are not completely NMF but some areas/panels seem to be painted. I had a look at other machines finished in NMF (mostly C/KC-135B's) and it looks like certain areas were painted in a mid-gray color like: The mid of the wings (I guess were the wing fuel tanks are) The wing-to-body fairing, excluding the wheel doors The leading edge betwee

AKA The Queen Of The Skies. Kit is from Zvezda in 1/144, very good engineering and fit but with very bad decals which doesn’t fit the kit in most places due to the intricate nature of the aircrafts paint scheme.

Hello folks, i'm currently in the process of building zvezda #7010 which is 747-8. my question is the color code for the boeing red, is there an FS or RAL no so i can goto an autobody shop and mix the color because all zvezda says is paint it "flat red" but looks like no it ain't! you can see the red here: http://www.boeing.com/commercial/747/ obviously there isn't one tone of red on the underbelly but at least if there is a starting point for an official color callout i'd like to know. for the record zvezda was kind enough! to supply
