This is the 1:72 Academy USN EA-18G "ShadowHawks". The build is straight out of the box and airbrushed with a mixture of Tamiya and MIG paints. I have left this aircraft pretty clean, although I saw a picture of an EA-18 with almost green (I have used RML Grey) looking beaten up drop fuel tanks. I have added them to this model to try and break up the colour scheme a bit. Although you cant see it here in the photos - the iconic "ShadowHawks" wording is down either side of the drop fuel tanks. Apologize for having only one pic per post, cuz i'm having problems with my photobucket account.... This is my latest build. F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is so popular that I decided to build it with an alternative way. That's the very reason i put it up on a brass rod, and have its landing gears modified as without ground load. Hope you enjoy it...
