Now that my Hellcats and Fw 190s are complete, it’s time for another 1/72 dual build. With the recent releases of the Caracal Decals F-111 sheets, I think my next project is set! I am going to build 2x Hasegawa F-111’s: - 389th FS F-111A (with 16x Mk.20 Rockeye for something a bit different) - Test EF-111A with the red-orange markings as seen on the Hasegawa box art, but with Caracal decals (only need to use the kit unit badge) I will use: - Master pitot tubes - Eduard etch (it’s for the D/F, but I might cheat on the A instrument panel and use or

Hello fellow enthusiasts, I have searched everywhere I can to locate the Caracal Decals CD48048, which is the 1:48 decal sheet for the YF-23 kit by Hobbyboss. No one has them in stock anywhere. If anyone has this sheet and wouldnt mind parting with it, I have cash on hand and would love to buy it off you. I am interested in the full sheet, but I will not hesitate to buy partials or partly used decal sheets. Anything helps! Thanks guys, JC

I finished this up about a week ago. Revell PT-17 "backdated" to a Navy N2S-2 with a Lycoming R960 engine from "Engines & Things". I used Caracal Models excellent decal sheet, depicting an instrument trainer out of NAS Corpus Christi TX in 1943. In the cockpit I added some fabric belts from HPW, and instrument panels from "Yahu". The "Yahu" instrument panels look really nice, 3 dimensional, "glass" on the instrument dials, a big step above over a typical colored instrument panel...still, I feel like I'm cheating by not painting the instrument panels as I typically do. Oh well,

Hello ARC, Here is my latest finished product... A 1/72 F-16C Block 52+ built from the Academy MCP snap together kit. I added a bunch of aftermarket goodies (pitot boom/AOA probes, radome, ejection seat, pilot figure, CFTs, afterburner nozzle, and weapons/pods/CL tank) and scratched a bunch of antennas according to references. I used Mr. Color paints and Caracal decals to finish the jet as a Polish AF machine, marked for a NATO Tiger Meet. I struggle with photography... and this time was worse than usual, but I hope you like my model anyway! This will be the last post from me for a w

Hello, Here's my just finished 1/48 RF-84F. It's the Tanmodel kit, and I used Caracal Decals to do it as one from the 38th TRS, 10th TRW, based at Spangdahlem AB in West Germany between 1955 and 1958. This is part of a little project of mine to build all the different planes and units that were based at Spangdahlem at some point. This is the 5th build for that, after an F-4G, A-10A, F-15C and F-105F. The Tanmodel kit is a lovely model, in my opinion. The panel lines and rivets are a bit deep, and a little inconsistent, and the camera assembly in the nose is a bit tricky
