Hi. This is the second model I've finished in a short time. The reason is that I've been building several builds at the same time and 2 models in a similar stage of build have been put together in a short time. I've really enjoyed this kit. It has abundant and well-done detail and although it's the weekend edition I've added some extras; photo-etched belts, Reskit wheels, Hispano guns in turned metal from Master Model and exhaust pipes from Eduard itself. I've used Tamiya paints for everything except for the final varnish with Vallejo satin, doing the dirt and wear wit

Hello all. A few days ago I finished building my second Eduard 1/72 Bf 109, and not to be the last one from Eduard although I also have some from other brands in the "hangar". I used one of the F Profipack kits from Eduard as well as exhaust pipes from Eduard itself, wheels from Reskit, weapons and pitot tube from Master Model and some decals from Techmod, only those related to the pilot's markings. I painted it with Tamiya, dirt with oils and airbrush and satin Vallejo varnish. I can't speak highly enough of these Eduard kits. I don't know the 1/48 one

Who know when and what will transpire from this but in October 2023 an Eduard team visited several Italian museum and amongst other thing 3D scanned parts of a Macchi 205V fighter. In the article nothing is mentioned on what scale or when will happen anything with this info. Just interesting! There is absolutely no point in starting a wish list or speculate what was this visit for. I am sure when the time is ready they will tell us! Have to add that more than 20 years ago had the chance with the permission of the museum director to crawl over and under one 205. It is a simply

Little something. My way : ) Have to start by saying that I have ZERO knowledge of this subject. It was simply a small challenge to see how this new kit works and what can be made out of it my way. I do like the Me-109 but have built very few of them in my time. This S-199 version is a very bizarre aircraft! It is of course not surprising that Eduard decided to do it for its home consumer base. Back in the old days (some 40 or so years ago) Kovozavody Prostejov (KP for short) did an S-199 kit. In those times that was the closest we could get to a Me 109 lookalike kit this side of

1/32 Eduard BF109E "Over the Balkan Peninsula" Review/Preview
Ranger_Chris61 posted a topic in Props
Back on 1/32nd aircraft kits this week, taking a look at an Eduard kit with their BF109E Over the Balkan Peninsula release. -
Hello, I had a hard time deciding which livery I wanted for my Eduard 72nd scale Mig-21 MF. Then I decided for a russian aircraft with one of those complicated camos with several coulors. I found an interesting aircraft in white 17. It is a 5 + 1 colour camoed aircraft (+1 being the emerald green patches which might be repair works or touch ups…) This actually is a Mig-21 SM (SM being basically being the domestic version and MF beig the export version). White 17 belongs to the 1st Squadron ou the Fighter-Bomber 18th Regiment – 303rd Composite Air Division base

OK, so what is waiting for us in the new Eduard box with this next Fishbed in line in 72nd scale. After the two version of MiG-21 MF and the just released PFM version it was obvious that the next will be the PF version. On common sprue H there were already some parts like the ejection seat and cockpit panels along with small bits and pieces. The transparent sprue also had other parts together for PFM and PF. The only brand new sprue is G which has the new fuselage, early wings with all associated parts. So let’s have a look at the parts.

We are going to be looking at the first Eduard kit that I ever bought this week with their 1/48th scale Il-2M Shturmovik.

Hi there, This my recente project, one of those very nice Eduard Migs 21. Used canopy masks, interior PE and metal pitot tube. No issues at all and, despite being a little bit worried about the “tiger stripes” decals, they turned out great. Very thin and went well with Mr Softer. These aircraft had this commemorative painting only for a relatively short period of time, so I decided to weather just enough to show the dirt that comes from normal flying, i.e., didn’t degraded the paint to have too many scratches and/or chipping. Hope you enjoy! Cheers!

Hello fellow modelers, This project had started from the April, but due to my limited time the progress was very slow and I didn't managed to post earlier. The kit I chose was Eduard's Fw 190 D-9 Late #8189 profi pack. I started assembling the first parts (cockpit, some gun bay parts, gears etc.) and then I continued with the priming. Afterwards I painted the cockpit and cockpits sidewalls with AK true metal silver, I used this layer as a base for the chipping. Then I painted using mostly AK's 3rd gen colors. Unfortunate

Hi guys Here I will post some photos from the Spitfires, I am currently building. I would like to ask for some advice, since these are my first builds (alongside with a F 16). Unfortunately, I don't have photos from the early stages. I used the Spitfires mostly to gain some experience using airbrush. For airbrushing I used a H&S Ultra airbrush, for the PRU schemed airplane I used AK's 3rd gen acrylics, while for the day fighter I used Humbrol Enamels. Both models were primed with Mr Surfacer 1200 and preshaded with black color, for the metallic base I used AK's True Metal Silve

Hello, I am new in scale modeling. I used this kit (Dual Spitfire Combo) to gain some experience in airbrushing and basic techniques (I had an accident with one of the roundels but actually looks good). For painting the PRU Spitfire I used Tamiya and AK 3rd gen acrylics (camo). For weathering I used Winsor & Newton and Abteilung oil paints (raw amber for fuel leaks, ivory black for smoke, dark rust for oil leaks and zinc white + raw umber for dust effect), also I used AK's paneliner for grey and blue camo. For the metallic base for chipping I used AK's true metal silver. I pre shaded the m

You can see that I tried some chipping (Never chip befor masking.....), for its base I used

I'm considering building an early, Cold War AH-64 using Monogram's old 1/48th scale kit. But this time around I'd rather not try to clean up Monogram's doughy, sink-marked AGM-114 Hellfire missiles. After some quick investigation, I think this Eduard kit can successfully represent early AGM-114s. Although it looks like I might have to use the Monogram rack and rails. Thoughts? Warnings? Advice?

This is my first plane in this forum. Made with Eduard MIG-21R kit and ModelMaker decal.

I have been considering a new project: I want to do Lt. Lochridge's F6F-3 (#117, "Lolly") as featured in the most recent release of the 1/48 Eduard kit. The deal is that I prefer to use the Hasegawa model. I was wondering if anyone has the decals left over that they would be willing to part with. I would appreciate it! (Also posted in buy/sell)

Hi there, I know, as if we're missing more '109s around here. But, for me, this one is special, my first motling attempt. I tried to be as close as possible to the manual and I'm happy with it. Hope you'll enjoy! This one was Oberleutnant Anton Hafner machine, in which he scored 204 kills and was, in turn, killed, when collided with the ground, while trying to evade his opponents. Cheers!

I have just received the brand new Eduard MiG-21MF in 1:72. Here's a link to my in-box review for those interested: https://vvsmodelling.com/2018/04/09/eduard-172-mig-21mf-library-edition/ I'll probably also start with the build along with the Mirage 4000.

I was in fifth grade when I got Bob Scott's God Is My Co-Pilot from the Scholastic Book Club and I resisted the urge to buy models with my allowance until I saved up enough for this kit: Spinning prop, opening canopy with pilot figure, retractable landing gear, moveable control surfaces-everything a 10 year old boy needs in a model aeroplane. I remember having it done in a day-no paint, plenty of glue, etc. Don't recall what happened to it but it still wears the crown of the coolest model I ever had when I was a kid. So let's fast forward to 2006 when I got it in my
