I was wondering if any of you guys or gals out there know of something that will effectively strip enamel model paint (of the Testors square bottle flavor to be exact)? I had, up until this point, used Easy Off oven cleaner but it seems that they changed the formula and it's too caustic and damages the plastic. I'm trying to find something that will work without attacking the plastic. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Looking for the Xtracolor X377 Bleu de Mirage enamel in the US. It doesn't have to be a brand new tinlet. I just need a color sample from it in order to custom mix Tamiya paints. You can also paint a small sample on a scrap piece of styrene and send it to me. Hannants has plenty in stock but unable to ship it across the pond due to it being classified as "dangerous goods" by Royal Mail.

Hello all, I know this sounds dumb but, can you use oil washes on models painted with Enamel paints? I was thinking if I let the Paint dry for a couple of days, five at most then add multiple coats of Matt cote then the oil wash wouldn't effect the paint? Could this be done? I've looked on the internet and forums for anything concerning oil and I couldn't find anything of use. I know that it sounds like a terrible idea but I really like the look of a oil wash and how much time it gives for fixing mistakes. I just wanted to make sure before I ruin the paint job on my Me-262 B-1/U-1 I'm working
