Planning to build a Hasegawa FB-111A as a 27 FW F-111G circa 1993. My references state that the AFSATCOM & astrocompass were both removed, a second UHF radio was added, and the ECM system was upgraded/replaced. Q: How are these changes evident on the outside of the jet? Regarding the astrocompass, I've seen a boneyard photo indicating the glass in front of the nose was still present. I think I see the antenna for the second radio on the upper fuselage just behind the cockpit, but unsure if the removal of AFSATCOM & ECM reconfiguration changed the external an

Arii F-111E marked as F-111F 70-2408 as she appeared in October 1993. Built straight OOB with a mix of custom & spares box decals. Positioning the wings forward would have created a gap to deal with, so in the interests of keeping this project simple I positioned them aft. While researching the tail end of the 'Varks USAF career, I found several photos of FS 36118 jets carrying green drop tanks, so went with that look. Chris

I am looking for 1/72 SRAM (from Testor B-2?) if anyone has spare ones to part with. I am also looking for engines/nozzles from 1/72 Revell B-1 if anyone is replacing their kit parts with Barracuda's new items. Please PM me if you have either item available. I am willing to shipping, etc. Best regards, Greybird

Hello everyone. This is my first post here and I'm already looking for help Some years ago I purchased two Academy F-111C kits with the intention of building one in the early camo colour scheme and the second in the final battleship grey, as they were when decommissioned. The first got done but momentum was lost to follow up on the second. I bought the Verlinden cockpit kit for the second after being a bit disappointed with the original.
