I noticed last week my LHS has them in stock, but it seems I've missed the launch of this (apparently) new mold line of recon Foxbats altogether. Looks like they have the RB version covered too. It appears I've been following the developments of certain Soviet 1/48 kits more closely - even though that's not my scale. I haven't found any WIPs yet. Not much talk here on ARC either. At least my search found nothing. There are several WIPs of the earlier PDs from ICM elsewhere. Once again I was surprised to learn these new reconnaissance kits have nothing to do with the ear

Hi everyone! Back once again to share my latest creation, the ICM MiG-25RBT. This kit is really quite nice, the moldings and details are very crisp. The fitment is quite good unless... well you do what I did and not spend enough time assembling the bulkhead support and intake section. This caused a chain reaction of fit issues in the rear fueslage. I am 99% sure that these issues I encountered were my fault. So if you build this kit, please take your time in that part of the construction process. I used the Cold War Studios corrected nose section, which is quite n

Hi guys After about 4 years no finishing a kit, finally found something attractive enough for me to start with. Yes it's the new ICM 1/48 MiG-25RBT, my favourite MiG-25 variant rather than the interceptor type. And what's more awesome is that ICM even chose my most favourite RBT scheme, the very famous and honored 47th GRAP "Red 46" which is very famous for her nice performance during Chechen–Russian conflict in 2001. Simply cannot resist the "Hero of Soviet" mark and the colourful communist badges! As being said for the error ICM made unfortnately in the

Finally finished this beast. Converted from Condor's MiG-25P. This is the MiG-25RBF Red 57 "Ivan Lezjov", formerly Red 20 "Rostislav Yashuk". It's one of the more interested schemes from Begemot's MiG-25 decal set, due to the rough overspraying of the old markings, dark green and light green over sand color scheme (usually RBFs and BMs appear to have brown and green over light green camo), and the replacement flaps from another, overall grey Foxbat. Colors are from AKAN's USSR VVS tactical colors 1978-89 set. Fun conversion and build overall.
