That's an awesome HSAWC F-16 on the gallery. On other news, massive, massive 1/72 Hasegawa Phantom stash dump on eBay, just saying. No, it's not me, actually looking at a bunch.

This week we are looking at a older 32nd scale kit with Hasegawa's P-26A kit, a subject matter and time period that does not get the same amount of kits as other periods.

Hi all! Does anyone have a source for either an original or replacement canopy (more precisely the sliding hood) for the 1/48 HASEGAWA F4U-4? The original in my kit was damaged when removing it from the sprue tree and a Falcon replacement I received from an eBay user last year was crushed in the mail. The kit is mostly built with the ancient Verlinden cockpit and flaps set and some True Details wheels. I just need the canopy to get it painted in GSB and wrapped up with decals. Thanks in advance! Hi all! I recently opened up a 20-year old F-104C ( PT19) and found that the clear tree ‘N’ was missing. Since this kit is still in active production, does anyone have suggestions where I could procure just this tree without dishing out the $ for a complete new kit? I’m in Quebec, Canada and already sent a note to the Canadian distributor for HASEGAWA. Thanks in advance!

Taking a look at another car kit for the first time in several years. This week we are reviewing Hasegawa's 1/24th scale 1966 Coup Type I.

So concurrent with my GWH 1/72 F-15C MISIP II project I'm also taking a look at the Hasegawa F-15C (shout out to @hemspilot for bringing it up). Although accurate this kit also features "simplified" air intakes with no inner details: I modified the kit fuselage halves and my 3D printed intakes for the 1/72 GWH F-15 and found that the resulting parts fit together not all that bad: That's the good news! The bad news is that the actual kit intakes all too predictively won't fit in any satisfactory way with the custom 3D printed part

Hello guys, Here's my last complete model, a P-38J 15 LO, from 1st Lt Clark Livingston, 392nd FS, 367th FG, seen at Juvincourt, France Dec. 1944. The Hasegawa kit is a bit of a challenge and has been fighting all the way. Paints used are AK extrem metal over a Gunze lacquer gloss black base, other shades from the Gunze acryl range. Hope you'll like her. As usual comments an critics most welcome. Hi Everyone! Back once again with my latest completed project, this time the 1/48 Hasegawa A-7E Corsair II in VA-86 Sidewinders markings circa 1978 aboard the USS Nimitz. I have always been attracted to this scheme ever since seeing it in the movie "The Final Countdown". Really love the huge orange diamond on the spine aft of the cockpit. Used the Aires cockpit on this, and the fit is pretty much perfect. Highly recommended for this kit. Also used the Meng Short Range Missiles set for the Sidewinders, Hasegawa Weapons Set A for the mk. 82s, and Hasegawa Weapons Set

When brousing and researching my other projects I occasionally saw these neat egg planes. After five strait 1/48 aircraft builds I was getting in a rut looking for something on the fun lighter side. I looked at the egg planes in more depth and was surprised that Hasagawa was producing them. I started with a F-4 Phantom I saw at a local hobby shop. The kit is super basic so immediatly I was thinking of ways to kit bash it and change it up. I started with the cockpit cutting out the pilot and sorting through my stash of spare cockpit parts to se

Hi all! Here is my latest completed project, the Hasegawa F-14B Tomcat of VF-103 Jolly Rogers aboard the USS Dwight D Eisenhower in 1998. This project is the only one I have ever started that I did not finish straight through. I finished the cockpit put then put the build on hold as a deadline for an IPMS club contest approached, so I moved on to another project that fit into the theme of that contest. It stayed on hold for over a year before I decided to go back to it as part of an F-14 Group Build on Scalemates. As you know, this is the notorious Hasegawa Tomcat.

I always loved the many colourful paint schemes of the Top Gun and Adversary Bandit Squadrons in the U.S. Navy, Marines and Air Force. After looking at several I saw the TA-4Js of the U.S. Navy reproduces in 1:48 scale decals and paint schemes for the "Scooter Bandits" by Afterburner I wish I could do them all but I am thinking ill do two. Here is the kit that seems to be the most popular amongst Skyhawk builders. I searched the internet high and low for the decals Part 1 or Part 2 I posted a plea for the decals finally thanks to a fellow member rep

This started as as a P-3C and was modified to a P-3B config of the Argentinian Navy using reference pictures. I filled the sonobuoy tubs, added Eziline HF wire antennas, and updated the antennas to reflect the Argentine fit. The model was also rescribed. Paints are mainly Gunze acrylics and SMS lacquers. Decals are the From DekLs sheet.

I have a Hasegawa Ld5 Singapore 747 Jumbo 1/200 model factory sealed from 1987. The funny thing is that UNDERNEATH the factory sealed plastic, the word "Boeing" is crossed out with what appears to be silver model paint. Was there a trademark issue? This is the only one I have seen with the word "Boeing" crossed out. Thanks!

Hello Guys, This is the Charge Mazda 767B, a 1/24 kit by Hasegawa. Built completely OOB and painted with locally available acrylic paints. Enjoy the Video.

Incredibly this is my 8th finished model this year. This has been part finished for a good 15 years, but very happy with how it turned out. Only problem was the decals which were very fragile and cracked and shattered very easily. The yellow leading edge markings were especially bad and pretty much unusable. The date on the sheet was 2003, and they've been in the loft for most of the past 17 years so perhaps I shouldn't be surprised...…I ended up raiding the decals folder for some yellow markings from an old Tamiya F-84 Thunderjet Not perfect but pulled me out of a hole.
