  2. Greetings, I built a Hasegawa Hornet several years ago and remember it being a fun build that went together with few problems. I had a Hobbyboss A model, another Hasegawa D model and the new Kinetic C model in the stash so I decided to get them all done. I had the Afterburner decals for VFA-87 War Party that I used on the 1st Hasegawa and there were plenty left over so I used them on the Hobbyboss Kit to build an A+. I am not up to date on my Hornet specifics so I relied on the Hobbyboss instructions for the build. Obviously that was a mistake. There were some antennas that got put
  3. Read carefully: Offering one mostly complete 1/48 Hasegawa F-104G 'NATO Fighter' - sprues are missing parts for the horizontal tailplane, & the nosegear strut parts, the rest is there. Will also send you several leftover sprue trees from their F-104C kit. Instructions and original decals included. If you can source the tailplane you can easily do this as a wheels-up kit. INCLUDES complete EagleStrike sheet 'Stars over Europe' #48057. Any interest? I know it's not complete so not expecting miracle offers. USA only - brian2ps2 (at) gmail.com

  6. Hello all, I have the Aires cockpit and the burner cans for the 1/48 Hasegawa F-18 kit. Does anybody of you have any experience, on how it fits the Kinetic kit? If these do not fit, I want to sell the with the Hasegawa kit. Thanks. Thomas
  7. Hi friends This is the ultimate Viper FACH (Fuerza Aerea de Chile), scale 1/EGG, modified from the Hasegawa kit. The modifications were: vacuform canopy, duplicate pilot in resin, birdslicers, spine, extended nozzle, fuel tanks and armaments transformed to scale 1/EGG: My son Nicolás helped with Photoshop to make the in flight potos. Thanks Nicolás!! Hope you like it NECSAC In Flight Landed
  8. Hi everyone! Back again to share my latest completed project, the 1/48 Hasegawa A-4M Skyhawk in Lo-Viz VMA-131 Diamondbacks markings from 1993. had the bright idea to add the Aires cockpit... what a mistake that was! I had only a couple of months ago used my first Aires pit (on a Tamiya F-16C Aggressor), and while it did take some work to fit, was not too much of a hassle. This one was nothing but a hassle. It took me more than an entire week to just get it to sorta fit in there. I had to hack up the plastic sides, the nose gear well, and the pit itself to shoehorn it in. Co
  9. Taking a look at a classic, with Hasegawa's 1/48th scale RF-4E Phantom kit in Hellenic markings.
  10. Hello all, These are my hornets I've been slowly working on lately. Im new to the scene and would appreciate any feedback or tips on how I can improve as an aircraft modeller. let me know what you think. thanks.
  11. Need some help. I've got a couple 1/72 A-37's I'm starting and wondering if any kind soul would happen to have the decals for the 19th TASS, 51st TFW out of Osan Korea from either the Academy "Black Eagles" kit #1672 or the Hasegawa kit #00142 they would be willing to sell? Thanks for any help.
  12. Happy Easter and good afternoon, I'm taking a look at my 1/72 scale Hasegawa F-20, and the external fuel tanks included in the kit, both underwing and centerline do not look right shapewise or size. The centerline tank looks much too long and skinny, and while the underwing tanks look better, they do not have the right upturned tail section as I see on those F-20 pictures that I have found. Can anybody provide me with accurate measurements for those large tanks? The seem to be the same tanks used by both the F-20 and the F-5E. Barring that, those tanks inclu
  13. Late getting this posted due to a couple of hectic work days back to back, but this week we have an older boxing of Hasegawa's TBF Avenger egg plane.
  14. I know this is a rookie level question, but here I go I! I have a hasegawa RF-4e that comes with these camera nose bits. I'm having trouble identifying if these count as the round or angled nose. I'm assuming round, but can somebody please confirm? Also, can I backdate this version nose to an RF-4C?
  15. Hello all, My fourth build for 2017 is Hasgawa's F-16A in 1:48 scale. The model represents an F-16A serving with the Royal Netherlands Airforce, No. 311 Squadron, around 1985. The model is of an aircraft attending a bombing range exercise, hence the captive AIM-9 missiles, and live cluster munitions. The graffiti on the bombs is inspired by this photo taken at exercises in Skrydstrup, Denmark in 1986. The kit consists mostly of Hasegawa parts, but the drop tanks and ejection seat were cannibalized from a failed Tamiya F-16. The BL755 cluster bombs are from
  16. This is the Hasegawa 1/48 F-14A+ kit number SP8. Started this kit back in November and it gave me quite a bit of trouble. It was one of the older kits in my collection, purchased sometime in the early 90's. After many years of being stored in garages some of the plastic got brittle. One sprue in particular would crumble upon snipping parts off. This happened to be the sprue with the landing gear parts on it. I was forever having to repair mlg struts and the like. Anyway the good news it is done. I actually finished it in January, just getting around to taking some pictures. The kit d
  17. Hi all! I am back to share my latest completed project, the 1/48 Hasegawa F-4G Wild Weasel from the original P4 boxing in 1984. I bought this kit from this site for very cheap, but it was already started though... the forward fuselage was brush painted and the cockpit had been partially painted. the intakes had been glued, then ripped apart apparently... so I had a little extra work to do when I got started. This build was OOB except for the decals. Total build time was about 3.5 weeks. The Decals are Speed Hunter Graphics "SEAD SPECIALISTS" part one, which are prin

  19. Hello My friends, Here is my Hasegawa's F-14D Tomcat with markings for VF-2. Its for an article about weathering on the Naval Jets. Hope you enjoy.
  20. In an interesting twist of fate, as I did not deliberately plan to have this particular video come out on inauguration day it just happened to be the next video in live to be released, we will be looking at a very patriotic Hasegawa A-7D in marking to celebrate the United States Bicentennial in 1/48th scale.
  21. Fantastic work on this somewhat outdated kit. Love the skin-stressing treatment.
  22. Dad bought me this kit way back in high school, so thought I should break it out. While the forum was down, I started. I haven't decided upon colour schemes yet. The interiors are a bit basic, but otherwise no real problems have been encountered so far. So that's where I am at the moment. More to follow.
  23. Hi all, Just finished this as my #13 in 2016. Hasegawa kit in 1/48 with FCM decal, built OOB with some scratchbuild parts. Hope you all like it.
  24. Hello everybody, I'm currently working on my 1/48 Hasegawa Ki-61 Hien kit, but I managed to loose a left landing gear leg. If anyone has a spare one and would be kind enough to send it to Slovakia (will gladly pay the shipping cost), drop me a message. Thank you, Sarny
