Hello, new project for me: building two kits in parallel ... one of them will be the second prototype of the YF-17 (the first one being a twin seater Viggen). The basis of the build will be the Heller F-18 kit. I've build it when a was a teenager, and I remember that it didn't look like a F-18, but more like a YF-17 or a prototype of the F-18 (I had build an Hasegawa before and was able to compare both). Thanks to Covid I got back into doing the odd Aircraft in the last year. I have been unaware of any models over the last ten years or so. My main interest is finescale UK model railways, in October 19 we moved into our new home, the intention was a new hobby room for me, this is very much approaching on the horizon, so Ian will soon have by the year end I will have a 5m x 7.5 m model hobby room self contained, only draw back I have to build it and extension! Hello Friends, Presenting the Sa315B of the Indian Army. The kit is from Heller and is of the SA313 in 1/48 size. This was modified into the Sa315B. The Model is 100% Brush Painted using locally available acrylics. Stretched Sprue was made using discarded pieces of the kit sprues and was used extensively for the detail and scratch-building. The rear fuselage skeleton was chucked away as it was too thick for this scale. This was made with stretched sprue. More detail was added to this using the same stretched sprue. Hi Gang, In preparation for the upcoming Classic GB, I'm trying to find the German decals from the newest release of the Heller Nord Noratlas or even a partial sheet of HaHen Noratlas decals. I'm willing to buy or trade for them. I'm in the US. Thanks, John
