Hello All, I'm building the 1/48 Revell F-102 and I'd like to position the weapons bay doors and missile rails properly. However, I haven't been able to find out how exactly they operated. Could you help me answer these questions? - 1) Did all of the weapons bay doors have to open and close at the same time, or was the pilot able to select which doors to open and which to keep closed? - 2) Did all of the missile rails extend into the slipstream at the same time? If not, how were the rails grouped? For example, did all of the front missiles extend at the same t

Hello All, Did anyone ever produce a decal sheet for red USAF serials codes? Looking for them in 1/48 to be able to build a specific B-57. I can find serials in white and black, but not in red. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Hello all! I'm building Trumpeter's 1/48 F-100F, but have noticed three glaring errors in the cockpit that need fixing: 1) No throttles included 2) Front seat should have a split headrest and associated mechanism, but the kit only provides two rear seats 3) The canopy reinforcement spar is totally missing. Strangely, they molded the space for the spar to fit between the front seat and the rear console, but never made the actual spar. Does anyone know if there are aftermarket correction sets for these issues? I found seats by Black Box, but they seem signi

Hello All! I'm about to build several F-100Ds in 1/48 scale. In every reference photo I have for the individual Huns I want to build, the jet is carrying the external fuel tanks shown in the photo below. I believe these are 200 gallon tanks, but I'm not sure. Any F-100 fanatics out there who could confirm this for me? Also, if they are 200 gallon tanks, does anyone know where I can source them in 1/48? Thanks!

Hello All! Could any of you Phantom Phanatics help me figure out which 1/48 kit would be best for building an accurate F-4D from RAF Lakenheath? I will be using Xtradecals markings for F-4D-29-MC Serial 66-7502, circa 1974-1977. Photo below for reference. I'm assuming the decision will come down to either the Academy or Zoukei-Mura 1/48 F-4D kits, but I know almost nothing about F-4s, so I would appreciate the advice! Thanks in advance!

As the title says; a BF109g4 converted into a BF109g2. What has to be done? Or is it easier to just simply start with the Revell BF109g6? I have a half dozen of the Revell kits to start with but only one Hasegawa BF109g4 gary

Searching resin conversion kit for 1/48 scale Su-27 plastic model. You probably know Sukhoi T-10M, known as Su-27M. That's what I looking for it. The problem is, 1/48 scale Su-27 plastic model is hard to find it. The more problem is, Su-27M conversion kit is very old stuff and production of these kits is ended. It's really hard to find but I really want to have 1/48 scale Su-27M. Does anybody have it or know where to buy it? Or should I take another option? If I should, can you suggest me better options?

Lately I have been using tamiya cement to fix my clear parts and it has been working well until now. I had a little too much solvent on my brush and got a little drip on the windscreen. What can I do to fix? Tried sanding it smooth but it looks like it changed the clear plastic into white plastic... Thinking 1. Drill out and fill in 2. Cover with "Oil drips" from prop (this is the AH-1Z) 3. Try to get a new part from Academy?

I'm new to Facebook and recently started a page for HazMAT Models. I thought it would be best to put the OV-10 Bronco pics in one album and future kits in a new album. Problem is, every time I make a new post and put the new photos in the album, the post is titled "Hazmat Models added x# new photos to the album: OV-10A Bronco" and all the previous album comments show up again. If I just add the pictures to a new post they are not added to the album. Apparently moving images from the timeline photo album to the Bronco album causes the timeline post to disappear
