After finishing the Voodoo, which was the last of the 3 projects for my brother, it’s time to work on my Blackbird. I believe this impressive black stunner was my first attempt to do airbrushing, with just a simple spray can and no real airbrush, probably some 30 years ago. Over time, decals have become dry and brittle, as they were not sealed at the time (didn’t have the knowledge I have now). However, I believe this black sleek lady deserves more than just a pile of dust, and after seeing some interesting techniques and results of fellow Blackbird builders, I think the

Time for one of my favourite aircraft: the CF-104. This build will honour my late father, who flew CF-104s in the early 70s at CFB Baden-Soellingen, West Germany. I was a High School student on the base at the time, and I got to watch these jets every day. We visited the squadrons often, and to this day the distinctive howl of a taxiing 'one-oh-four' or one rolling into the overhead break animates my dreams. I love this Italeri kit. For the cockpit, I bought a Red Fox Studios decal set. It's for an F-104S, but it's quite similar to the Canadian CF-104. The main differences are in t

Some 30 years ago I first built this kit, with just my 15 year old experience, glue, pencil and a simple Revell black spray can. She was sitting for some time behind the other newer models, on which I was able to practice airbrushing. I felt it was time to put the slender black beauty back into the spotlights, with a renewed tight black dress, new tattoos and some details that had to be on. She has become the stunner of my collection again! With pride I present to you the reconstructed Italeri 1/48 SR-71 Blackbird, in the Night Hawk livery, with Afterburner decals

Hello All, First build finished in many, many years. This is the Itaerli 1/72 RB-66 kit, built in markings for the 10th TRW at RAF Alconbury in 1964. I built this to hang on the ceiling of my boys' bedroom, since both were born while stationed at RAF Alconbury. Kids went nuts for it, so that made me happy. The Kit This is the only readily available kit for the any version of the B-66. It is actually quite impressive, as the kit comes with parts to make every major variant of the jet: B-66, RB-66, and EB-66. Technically, the EB-66 version sho

This kit started life as an Italeri boxing of the AMT AC-130H. The conversion involved: Plugging the 'AC' holes Lengthened the fuselage for and aft of the wing Adding AE2000 engines from Jen's Bits Adding various parts from the Hamilton Hobbies conversion set. Scratch building the Satellite Wifi dome Scratch building various antennas modified the long range tanks with chaff dispensers Added a Litening pod from Quickboost/Eduard It was finished using SMS, Gunze and Tamiya paints and decaled using the Southern Sky C-130J-30 de

Hi everyone! As painting is impossible in my modeling room currently (30 Celsius in the evenings nowadays), I set aside my Phantom project for a while and restarted an older project - Italeri Super Hornet. Many people wrote reviews about this kit's flaws and inaccuracies so I won't go into the details. We know this is not a Hasegawa offering, period. I decided to spice it up with scratchbuilding some details. Planned things: cockpit and canopy details, gun/radar bay, opened nose cone and extended radar equipment, avionics bays, folded wings wing and dropped flaps. I started this model years

I've done a general search for these sheets in some of the usual places online, but have been unable to find these specific instructions for these kits. If you could scan them and send them would be appreciated or if you can make copies for me and mail them I'd be happy to reasonable compensate you for your time in doing so. Thanks

OK, this time something different. 1/144 Dragon A-6E with Retro Wings cockpit set and PaulusVictor decals. This kit is a nasty dog. In the box - it looks like 3.6 ...not great, not terrible. Unfortunately it is more terrible than great when you start it. Fit is very bad, and there is a lot of details missing. I tried to add some that are really visible. The most important is small hump behind the canopy... Some small intakes too. There is a lot of sink marks in the plastic, and many missing panel lines that needs to be rescribed. I will try to make decent wing fold. I used Tamiya E

A very enjoyable built. No aftermarkets, scratched a few minor bits inside & out for some more detail and to make some things a better scale , added a pilot. It has the RAN decals added to the kit. Might ultimately mount it flying on a base.

I started this one the other day, but in my haste forgot to take any in progress shots. The build has progressed pretty fast, the kit is nicely engineered though I know it has issues. I will make a few easy corrections but not fix everything. I have modified the main gear struts to twin bogies, the wheels will come from a CH-53 kit's left overs. Not sure if I will attempt to add the forward observation windows. Some shots will be provided shortly.

Hello friends, we continue to assemble the model, the engine is finished, the interior of the cabin is made and the decals are placed. You start painting exterior panels with Zero-paint. Greetings and I hope you like it https://youtu.be/RpOTJsws1js

Hello friends, we continue to assemble the model, some parts are painted with primer and then painted with chrome. It is my first truck model that I make of the Italeri brand, I have some problems with the assembly of parts. https://youtu.be/Agy-HIo_LmU If you have not seen the previous parts here I leave the link: Part 1: https://youtu.be/gqYZcCjLrag Part 2: https://youtu.be/QnfScLW7fXE Greetings and I hope you like it

I have a Italeri 1/35 Panther A kit that came to me started. It had no barrel or tracks. The barrel has since been replaced by a Dragon plastic barrel, and I MIGHT have a set of Tamiya Panther G individual link tracks somewhere in the stash. This would make a great start to a panzerstellung (fixed emplacement) diorama. I also have a Italeri 1/35 Tiger I Late. It's missing the driver's hatch parts, the photoetch, and the decals. The turret has been started (breech assembled & installed, halves joined, zimmerit panels applied; this is how I got it). I have included Tamiya Comman

Hello friends, we continue to assemble the model, the steering system has been modified so that the wheels could turn as in reality. Pieces of the cabin are prepared to be painted. The assembly is slowing down due to lack of information in the part painting scheme. https://youtu.be/QnfScLW7fXE If you have not seen the first part here I leave the link: https://youtu.be/gqYZcCjLrag Greetings and I hope you like it

Hello friends, here begins the assembly of my first truck. It's a Scania R730 V8 Streamline "Team Chimera", from the moment I saw it I liked it and I decided to buy it. It is from the Italeri brand at 1/24 scale and it seems that it comes very well detailed with a lot of decals. https://youtu.be/gqYZcCjLrag Greetings and I hope you like it

G'day All,This is my latest completion, Italeri's 1/9 Manx Norton. Not a bad kit TLAR to me when finished and is as close as I'll ever get to owning a real Manx Norton. Brush painted with Humbrol and Tamiya enamels. No apologies for the pic's, they are spot on to my usual crappy standard!Cheers,Devo

G'day All, I thought I would put up a few pic's of my latest in progress build. Hopefully it's starting to resemble an MV Agusta 500cc 4 cylinder GP bike from the 1960's. It's all OOB and brush painted. I left off the front mudguard as I saw a pic of this bike racing without it, so why not. I just have the fuel tank, seat and fairing to go and it will be finished. Cheers, Devo

As I am building the latest iteration of the Sukhoi Su-34 - I thought I'd have a go at the earliest version - the T-10V1 Su-27IB. I originally thought of just grafting the original Su-27 tailboom onto the Italeri Su-34 kit - but the biggest problem I faced was filling in the mainwheel wells - they are huge on the Su-34 and cut into the intake sides - the whole area is totally different between the Su-27IB and production Su-34. So I have adopted the method that Sukhoi used - grafting the new side-by-side cockpit section front fuselage onto the rear of a tandem two-seat S
