Hello, During almost 5 years, I have worked on this model, using several other ones to produce a Mirage G8-01. It was a prototype in the 70's and the aircraft is currently presented in the aerospace museum in Le Bourget in France. I went there to take a lot of pictures for my build to be as accurate as possible. I draw the plans from photos (At that thime, I hadn't the Mirage F1 book which include wonderful 1/72 plans). Hello again. Back this time with some finished pictures of a project I've been dragging along on for some time. Years ago, I bought this Anigrand XP-49 kit on-line, as a used kit. It had some problems. The boom halves were badly warped, the landing gear doors and nose gear leg were missing, as were the mass balancers for the elevator. So, I started slowly sawing, slicing, bending and scrounging replacements parts,in this case from the same old MPC P-38F kit that I scrounged other parts from for my XP-38 prototype build. Hello again, seems like only a few days ago that I was writing up last year's build log. Time flies! But, I was determined to make the best of this rather trying year... My newest airplane, the first flying wing jet, the Horten Ho 229 :) Scale 1:72 by Revell.
