  1. Can anyone tell me if this is Avail in the US? I asked my closest friend Google and there was no definitive answer! Only found in the UK on EvilBay. Can anyone help an Iron Maiden/10 Foot Eddy Fan out? Cheers AFM
  2. I'm considering building an early, Cold War AH-64 using Monogram's old 1/48th scale kit. But this time around I'd rather not try to clean up Monogram's doughy, sink-marked AGM-114 Hellfire missiles. After some quick investigation, I think this Eduard kit can successfully represent early AGM-114s. Although it looks like I might have to use the Monogram rack and rails. Thoughts? Warnings? Advice?
  3. Back after taking January off from posting review videos. Also back to reviewing large scale aircraft kits again with our first large scale jet. This week we will be looking at Revell's 1/32nd scale ME262B-1 kit.
  4. Here is a just completed Harrier. I started with a Revell boxing of the Hasegawa Harrier GR7 and decided to build it as a USMC machine form VMA-214. Of course there are a few differences between the two marks, I tried to replicate most of them. I part of an Eduard etch set in the cockpit, a Pavla ejection seat and exhausts and speed break form Quickboost. Decals are from a Wolfpak sheet.

  8. First new review video of 2019 after taking January off. We will be looking at a very large aircraft kit this week from Revell with their 1/32nd scale Beaufighter Mk.1 heavy fighter.
  9. Hi folks! I good friend of mine has terminal kidney issues (he's on hemodialysis daily) and has been gifted a NIB kit #4719 but it's missing the canopy. He can build this one as the parts are large. Smaller kits he's had to give up on building. If anyone has one they can spare from their parts box I'll happily pay for it. Also, if anyone has a set of aftermarket decals for this kit they will not be using I'd like to get them for him. I'll pay for the canopy and decals and if you are willing to mail them directly to him I'll get you his address and, obviously, I'll cover that cost.
  10. I am disappointed they are releasing the Aurora HH-3. I understood they bought all of Revell's tooling as well. I would like to grab another Revell 1/72 HH-3 Jolly Green Giant as I understand it is superior to the Aurora version.
  11. Sticking with Revell aircraft kits this week by taking a look at Revell's 1/32nd scale F4U Corsair kit.
  12. Hello, this is an old build finished in 2011. Built straight out of box.
  13. Back on aircraft this week with a look at another Revell kit with their rendition of the P-47N Thunderbolt in 1/48th scale.
  14. Going back to large scale aircraft this week with a look at Revell's 1/32 scale Spitfire Mk.IXc kit.
  15. Looking at one of the classic trainers of the early days of aviation that is still in use to day with Revell's 1/48th scale PT-17 Stearman kit.
  16. I was digging around in the back of the stash tonight looking for something else when I ran across this one. Poor Revell side opening box that's suffered nearly 20 years of stash crush, now is as good a time as any to rescue it. The price on the side says 15 bucks so it was a swap and sell purchase. I've given it a much better container, instructions have yellowed but surprisingly the decal sheet looks good still. I'll probably build it as a captured aircraft of some sort.
  17. Selling the last released detailing sets of Metallic Details: Landing gears for aircraft model SR-71 Blackbird in scale 1/72 - $28.00 Set contains 25 resin parts, photoetching board (40*21 mm). Opened jet nozzles for aircraft model F-15 (Revell, Great Wall Hobby) in scale 1/48 - $25.00 Set contains 44 resin parts, photoetched parts (49*25 mm). Jet nozzles with external flaps for aircraft model F-15 (Revell, Great Wall Hobby) in scale 1/48 - $25.00 Set contains 10 resin parts, photoetched parts (49*25 mm).
  18. The latest off my bench, the new Revell kit. There's some good things about this kit and some bad things, but overall I think it is slightly better than the Hasegawa model. Although, the major problem is the undercarriage, it is very weak and my tail wheel collapsed in a week. I wouldn't sit this model on a smooth surface or the gear might fail rather quickly. Markings were masked and painted on except the swastika, this aircraft had black roughly overpainted on the undersurface and the markings for night fighter operations with JG 300 Wilde Sau.
  19. Hello friends Today I bring you an assault cannon, the most produced in Germany during the Second World War. The Stug in its version 40 Ausf. F / 8 of the Revell brand at 1/35 scale, with an exterior finish suitable for snowy areas. https://youtu.be/iwY8mKYWtwE Greetings and I hope you like it
  20. I wound up buying this kit for $4 each. In need of the following items: windscreen gun half (21A). Later, Lee P.S. The Camel came with extra parts from a 2nd kit. Wings (upper and lower, prop, partial engine, landing gear, struts, etc.). If you need any of it LMK.

  25. This is 1/72 revell 03208. The detail is exquisite, probably one of the best in 72nd scale revell's that i've build (and i build many) so far. i can not comment on the accuracy since i am unfamiliar with the vehicle tho. As you can see all the pioneer tools are separate parts, eventho it was a bit tricky the plastic is very good and forgiving which helps a lot with the cutting and cleaning - still being careful and having a healthy nipper is a must at these sizes (it's mere 10.7cm in length). The running gear is extremely detailed but i left it's assy after the paintjob
