Got this at a steal for less than 10USD. Tried to bend the rotors with a hairdryer. Some blades made it, one or two were overdone.

Yeah, I had bought this kit over a decade ago all the way from New York City. The store was supposed to be the sole hobby shop in Manhattan and although the selection wasn't that spectacular, I chose this kit since at that time I had been reading a lot about the Eastern Front and I knew this was supposed to be a nice kit with all the interior details like its bigger Trumpeter cousin. I also had read the fit wasn't necessarily that good and that many parts would have flash on them. That really was the case. Through the years I had tried to start this kit several times but to no avail.

Now that the Tamiya Tony is in the case, time to start on the next project which I picked up in Chattanooga in January, The Hasegawa 1/48 P-39 along with a beautiful wooden base from Bases by Bill (picture coming!) with the nametag of the Soviet P-39 ace Alexander Pokryshkin. Picked up the kit as a package with the nice wooden base and name plaque, and the Eduard PE bits for the interior, placards and flaps. I'm more used to Eduard's really nice P-39 kits which are mostly out of production now, but the Hasegawa kit has a nice level of detail and the Eduard PE just adds to the det

Hi guys After about 4 years no finishing a kit, finally found something attractive enough for me to start with. Yes it's the new ICM 1/48 MiG-25RBT, my favourite MiG-25 variant rather than the interceptor type. And what's more awesome is that ICM even chose my most favourite RBT scheme, the very famous and honored 47th GRAP "Red 46" which is very famous for her nice performance during Chechen–Russian conflict in 2001.
