Hi everyone! First of all, I would like to thank everyone who always helps me. I have some questions about Su-33, so I ask you again. 1. Isn't it wrong to install SVP-24 on the Red 68, 80 and 86 bird included in MINIBASE's 1/48 scale Su-33 product? 2. Isn't the part in the yellow circle in the picture wrong when mounted with SVP-24? Some Cockpit photos were found not to be equipped. 3. Is the red circle marked part of the picture a part that is no longer mounted on the Su-33? I wrote it using a translator. My sentence can be diffic

Hello All, I wanted a break from mainstream Plastic Injection moulded kits and build Large Scale Models. The First project is a 1/20 Scale Su-30Mki. It’s made from Foam Board, Polyurethane Foam, Tons of Putty, skinned with Fiberglass and further skinned with putty. the Panel lines were marked upon as scribing was lifting up the putty. There are a lot of inaccuracies, but I have made peace with it for now. The model will get updates in the future. Enjoy the pictures.. . . Regards from India Aditya +91-8860441002

Another Su-24 from the Pandemic stash. This time in Iranian colours. And a bit of imagination on the weathered state of their fleet cos all the reference pics i get on the internet show pretty clean aircraft. And a last hurrah with the previously completed Blue 91.

HELLO AND GREETINGS FROM ALGERIA ! 😀 I present to you my 1/48 Trumpeter Sukhoi Su-24 M, known as the copycat of the F-111. The Fencer is used by the Algerian Air Force since the '90's and had three or four overhauls since. Algerian Fencers had also upgrades; especially in their electronics. The kit was a little disapontement; It needed a lot of correction works , the exhaust part is wrongly built by Trumpeter. The kit was improved with the SU-24 Exterior PE made by Eduard, added a metal nose antenna from Master Model and some home made decals (cockpit dashboard, instruments, insign

OOB except for the decals from Begemot. My take on Red 21 during the Syrian operation. Complete with blacked out red star and other identifiers except Bort no. Hope i dont get penalised as i posted this and a few other kits in the wrong "Display Case" (I posted on the armour segment instead...). Can anyone advise how i can delete those other posts there? Cheers. Harry.

So, this is OOB except the decals which is from Begemot as i wanted to build a Fullback used in the Syrian theatre. I put on the Russian Red star insignia and letterings first before slapping on black paint to cover them. Seems that planes involved in the campaign only left the bort no. uncovered.

Hi All, Maiden post. This is an OOB build of the Smeer 1/72 Su-7 BKL in Egyptian colours. Raised panel lines not too much of an issue at this scale. Initially sanded part of it with 1500 sandpaper. Thought better of it and switched to shading the lines with a 2B pencil and slightly going over them with a flat brush. I think the pencil works better

Hello Friends, This is a Build of the HobbyBoss Sukhoi-30 MKK in 1:48 size. I build this kit into a Su-30MKI in service with the Indian Air Force. The build is OOB with required additions or modifications. The mods include : 1. Making the LERX - Leading Edge Extensions alongwith the canards. I make this using plastic card and epoxy putty. Once the putty dried I sanded the thing to shape. The panel lines were rescribed with reference to the line drawings which are available on the internet. 2. I modify the tails as the ones used by the MKI are diff

I used to model as a child, and now I decided to get back to the hobby. For such I chose the GWH 1/48 Su-35S, I love how the Su-27 aircraft family looks, and Ive seen some awesome reviews of this kit online. To the point, mine arrived a few days ago from China, and as I wait for the rest of the stuff I need for the build to arrive, I figured I would start this topic, and adress some of the first questions that came to my mind regarding the build. Starting by some doubts regarding which joints are and wich joints arent panel lines: The joints that have BLUE lines paralel t

Hi Guys, I am advancing in building my 1/48 Kittyhawk SU-35 which I am planning to make as the SU-35S bort number 902 with the nice splinter camo. I am trying to find as many photo references as possible though but I found my self only with a handful of them. I studied the instructions kittyhawk provide with the kit for the painting and I can see some issues there. I am not talking about the colours as these I think are not the correct ones, but it is generally about the scheme. I see for example that the Nose colour on the real plane has a different patter

Hi everyone! Here's my new project I wanna share with you, the Sukhoi Su-17M3. But hold on, it's not the infamous Kitty Hawk Fitter and neither is the new HobbyBoss one. We're talking about a Modelsvit one in 1:72 scale. And from what I've seen so far, it is by far the best Fitter in this scale... and quite possibly in any. You might have seen the K-36 seat already from Ken's beautiful M-17 build, but here it is again. Ejection seat consists of, believe it or not, 23 parts! What you see here is 22 parts as I left of the commendably thin ejection seat lever to add at the

There is HB model (actually chinese J- 11B, that almost the same) done as 968 IIAP CO mount in the middle of 90th of the past century. There are some add-ons: lovres and meshes set and nozzles from A.M.U.R. Reaver, Brassin Missiles and rails from Eduard. I corrected the wheel wells shape and made new engine intakes. Some other minor improvements was made here and there. More photos here on Flickr!

The first finished model of 2017. HobbyBoss kit in 1:72ish scale (closer to 1:60 I guess) and Begemot decals. Several changes had to be made in order to bring the kit, built to represent the first two prototypes, to the rebuilt 5th flying prototype. Hi everyone. A lot has been happening in my life in the last 4 months - details can be found in the article ;) Anyhow, my new project is the refurbished 5th prototype of the infamous Sukhoi T-50 PAK-FA. Here's a link to the first part of the article: https://vvsmodelling.com/2017/04/10/sukhoi-t-50-5r-part-1/

Here's my entry for this GB. It is the recently released HobbyBoss rendition of the Su-27 Flanker. I will be adding a resin seat and using decals from Begemot. The kit seat is rather lacking in detail so I'll be using a resin replacement. And progress so far involves the construction of several sub-assemblies. Mark

Hi everyone! I have this little shelf queen that for no apparent reason became one at the beginning of the year. I wanted to build Su-30M2, but upon just closing the fuselage halves, seeing all the Trump's mistakes, I lost all the mojo. I am resurrecting her now for this GB. In the past few days, I've attached the intakes, the nose, started puttying, sanding and rescribing lost details. The work I hate the most. Oh and I've started working on cockpit. And this little man, which will look much better after he'll receive some flat coating. The figure comes from a Zve
