I have some unused parts from1/32 Tamiya F-15E (original issue, NOT bunker buster) kit, all weapons (bombs and 4 Sidewinders), some pylons, pilot figures, ladder, engine nozzles. In short, almost all parts not used in F-15I conversion. About half of boms are glued, some are still on sprue. Will include original decal sheet (LANTIRN pods, cockpit and LG decals used) and assembly manual. These are $18 shipped in US.

My build for the Helicopter GB is the 1/72 Tamiya OH-58A, with markings from Print Scale for a red & white Kiowa. I'll be building this OOB, as I plan to use the GB to clear some small items from my stash. So far I have the interior bits prepped and sprayed with primer, and will upload a pic of the finished cabin as soon as I can.

This is Tamiya’s 1/35, probably an Opel Blitz but it’s not mentioned anywhere. Basecolor was tamiya’s dark grey lightened up with white and blue. On top of it winsor newton Davy gray was heavily applied as a filter. I am counting on it getting even more darker with subsequent clear coats and weathering.

Hi all! So what has not been said about the new Tamiya 1/48 Tomcat? It fits incredible. Yep. The engineering is ingenious. Yep. It is all true. I must say I enjoyed every minute of this build, and completed it in about 2.5 weeks. Of the 16 completed kits I have built, this one is FAR AND AWAY the best fitting. I did not use a single drop of putty. This was built OOB with the exception of the exceptional new Furball F-14 sheet, "Colors and Markings of US Navy Tomcats, Part III". I chose to use the VF-41 Black Aces from 1976. As usual these decals performed flawlessly.

Nice kit with recessed panel lines despite it's age. A/C is French AF from it's time at Djibouti.

Here's Tamiya's lovely F-16C, with parts from the Thunderbirds kit to turn it from block 52 to block 30. I have always loved the blue "Flanker" camo, so will be using TwoBobs' Blue Fox Bandits 32-051 sheet along with an ALQ-188 pod from Aires. Paints are Model Master enamels: FS36270 Neutral Gray lightened a bit, Flanker Medium Blue #2131, and FS35109 Blue. The drop tank on the table is a paint and decal test - I know the real planes carry standard-color tanks and pylons. Still need to make a CATM-9 Sidewinder practice round and an ACMI pod. The kit includes blanking pl

I haven’t modeled since I was a young kid putting together Revell kits with Testors cement and finishing them in a couple hours. Even though I haven’t touched a kit since middle school, I have continued to follow model forums and build sites. Now, at the age of 33 and with the recent purchase of a house, I have the room to get back into it and try out all of the methods I have learned from forums like this. I decided to dive back in with one of the great 1/32 kits from Tamiya, their P-51D. I have also added some aftermarket kits, I am sure I will add more down the road but this is what I ha

I have a good friend who who doesn't frequent online model forums but is in need of the following parts for kit #60304. He bought the kit as started but upon very close inspection he needs the following: Sprue A: 14, 15, 16, 17 Sprue B: 3, 4 From the sounds of it these are the intake parts. He will take whatever you have (painted, glued, etc). I have his address and will cover the costs for him. He's a good guy. Thank you, Lee

So far it's a Tamiya kit, nothing else need be said. :) Zimmerit is via milliput and screwdriver, pattern and directions are iaw the instruction and ref sheet Tamiya is providing. In hindsight Tamiya's own Zimmerit coating set for this particular model should be easier imho because milliput is time consuming due to the intricate details on the surfaces and i'm not sure if it's going to be a cheaper option in the end due to the waste... Alas i have started with milliput so this one will have to finish with it.

Hi! I am looking for a closed nozzle for an in-flight build of a Tamiya F-16. It should be a nozzle for the Pratt & Whitney F100. Is there any aftermarket company, which produces a closed nozzle? Cheers, Markus

Resin seamless intake makers need not apply. I've been building my new tomcat over the weekend, wow what a fit! I have never had intakes that fit as perfectly as these ones. Absolutely flawless. At first I didn't see this kit as an improvement in tooling, just a brand new tomcat, on par with their new F-16. But this kit is much much better. Hard to believe they could do better than their recent releases, but they have. I'm using tamiya's new extra thin cement, and I don't think there will be a drop of putty on this kit.
