Hi guys, It's been quite a lot of time since my last post here, modelling being an on and off affair for at least fifteen years. But well, it seems that the first half of 2022 will be marked as "On", and hopefully, the second half as well. First finished from a twin Jugs build started a few weeks ago, here's my interpretation of a Colombian F-47D-30(?) based on Hasegawa's bubbletop kit in 1/48, with Aztec decal sheet. No aftermarket used, appart a PE harness from an Eduard set for USAAF WW2, and the gun barrels made out of metal tube by myself. Did re-learned

My first model for 2022 crossed the finish line this morning. I started this model in December of 2020. This is the 1/48 Tamiya P-47M with the following additions: - Eduard Löök Instrument Panel and Steelbelts - Quickboost resin gunsight - Added wiring to the instrument panel and gunsight - Aires R-2800 Late engine modified to fit the kit firewall - Quickboost oil cooler and wastegate interiors - Eduard Photoetch Gunbay - GasPatch .50 Cal Flexible Ammo Belts (2x) - Eduard Brassin Wheels - Brake lines added with copper wire - HGW Wet Transfer rivets adapted from the P

Hello everyone 👏 Apologies for posting a second question within a few days of joining the forum This is just a question above the Have Glass canopies and whether anyone is aware of a site which goes into details on them (such when they were introduced, which planes have them etc). Google hasn't been much help unfortunately Basically I am currently building an A-10A and the windscreen cracked so I have ordered the AFV Club canopy which has been treated to give the Have Glass effect. I have tried looking a reference photos etc and through my reference book and

Back on aircraft this week with a look at another Revell kit with their rendition of the P-47N Thunderbolt in 1/48th scale.

Dad bought me this kit way back in high school, so thought I should break it out. While the forum was down, I started. I haven't decided upon colour schemes yet. The interiors are a bit basic, but otherwise no real problems have been encountered so far. So that's where I am at the moment. More to follow.
