Hello! I'm planning to make a vf-143 f-14b for 2002. I'm asking because I'm so confused while looking for the data. What is the small display of the F-14B RIO cockpit for? I don't know if the picture I found is f-14b, but this picture doesn't have a small display. However, the 3D cockpit decal has a small display. Does the f-14b in 2002 have to have a display? Or should there not be any?

Which of the two wheels did the f-14b belonging to vf-143 use in 2002? I'm looking for several materials to make f-14b (buno. 163220) belonging to vf-143 that was active in 2002. Which wheel should I use to be accurate? I think number one. What number do you think it is? (Please refer to the blue number shown in the picture.)

Back in February, I was asking for the proper shade of blue for VF-143 Tomcats, so as a way of saying thank you to Brian P and others, I thought I'd post some pics of the finished model. Not only were the VF-143 markings the wrong shade of blue, but the stripes for the top of the tailfins and rudder too short by approximately a millimeter (or 40 thou in inches). Unfortunately, the VF-32 markings suffer the same shortness in chord. Anyway, having a Silhouette Portrait cutter at hand, it was easy to create masks for the forward fuselage stripes and cut decal film strips into consistent widths

No, not a new song title, but trying to determine what shade of blue was used on the VF-143 F-14As in the light gull gray over white era. I have the Furball Decals, and they specify Insignia Blue for the tops of the tailfins (that must be painted), but that will not match the blue trim of the tailfins and the three stripes on the forward fuselage. Looking at photos on the web, the blue is definitely lighter than the dark blue of the insignia. The hue varies with the photos too - in one photo it definitely has a hint of red in it which I can find no FS match for. In others it looks less ric
