    looking at the Squadron booklet on the B17 bomber last night, and towards the back of the book were several photos of the B17H. Found it most interesting. It appears that they were built off of modded later B17G's to my eyes and the serial numbers were all mid to late 1944 airframes. Now the question is if the Airfix kit is the right airframe? Also did anybody do a conversion kit? Looks like they removed the chin turret and faring and replaced them with a simple radar dome. The boat was a 21 foot Higgins boat, and that may become an issue. Any thoughts? gary
