  1. Here's more 1/32 A-6 Intruder AOA decals sheets. Similar to the previous VA-65 Tigers sheets, this release again only covers one squadron, this time VA-75 Sunday Punchers, spanning Vietnam to Desert Storm: 32-027 (Part 1): Includes two sets of basic schemes, both CAG and line jet schemes included. First pair (A-6A) cover their third and final Vietnam deployment and the next pair (A-6E) cover their more well known postwar white tail scheme. Includes markings for MER identifications as well as fuel tank markings. Also included is a new expanded release of the complete A-6 stencil/marking sheet (32-026) which supersedes the original (32-002), this new sheet also includes a landing gear placards, walkway striping, and a few other minor additions. As before, it will also be available for purchase separately. 32-028 (Part 2): A relatively small sheet covering two low viz schemes from the late 80s to the Desert Storm period. Decals also included for fuel tanks, tailhooks, ejection seats, ladder wells, landing gear, and speed brake interiors. www.AOAdecals.com 32-027 and 32-027 includes new 32-026: 32-028

Part 1 has 10 schemes (1/48 48-011 & 1/72 72-008) Part 2 has 11 schemes (1/48 48-012 & 1/72 72-009) Enough common markings are included for at least two schemes (as long as they don't share the same style of insignia) 1/48 - $18.50 each 1/72 - $16.00 each Printed by Cartograf. (free shipping in US) 10/22/2018: All four sheets are now in stock www.AOAdecals.com Part 1 (1/48 cover shown, 1/72 same options): Part 2 (1/48 cover shown, 1/72 same options):
  3. First of hopefully more, here's a new "budget" minded sheet of the high viz period. This new release, 32-029, is another 1/32 A-6A sheet and continues focus on VMA(AW)-533 Hawks. The first AOA 1/32 sheet (32-001) included their three overall schemes used during their Vietnam War deployments (1967-69 at Chu Lai and 1972-73 at Nam Phong), and another earlier sheet (32-003) included their Desert Storm scheme. This new sheet 32-029 expands that coverage to include some of the schemes in the early to mid-1970s at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. Similar to the earlier 1/32 F-4 sheets, this time again only primary airframe stencils and markings are provided (for one aircraft). However, for those looking for full airframe coverage, a specific extensive sheet covering the A-6 airframe stencils and markings is available to purchase separately (32-002 and now 32-026). $13.50 w/free shipping in US http://www.aoadecals.com/

Just know that an awesome Bronco kit is on the way!
  6. Two new sheets covering the AC-119G Shadow and AC-119K Stinger - one in 1/72 for the Italeri/Testor kit and one in 1/144 for the Roden kit (for some reason they only provided one decal option and it was a stateside training squadron). Markings are provided for eight AC-119G Shadows and six AC-119K Stingers gunships from the Vietnam War covering all three USAF squadrons (The AC-119G can be relatively easily built from the 1/72 Italeri/Testors AC-119K kit, unfortunately currently OOP). The six 71st & 17th SOS Shadows include The Devil's Advocate, City of Columbus Indiana, The Charlotte Representative, Burks Law, and two Charlie Chasers marked aircraft. All these Shadows also carried a variation of the Shadow III insignia. The six 18th SOS Stingers include Montezuma's Revenge, Fly United, Good Grief! The Pea-nut Special, The Super Sow, The Polish Cannon, and Black Killer Duck. And two standard 819th Attack Squadron VNAF Shadows (821st Attack Squadron VNAF Stingers can be represented by combining the VNAF fin flash with the 18th SOS Stinger serial numbers since all of the K's covered on the sheet were eventually transferred to the VNAF later in the war). Data/stencil sets provided for at least TWO aircraft with variations of certain markings also provided as options. Also included are decals for both the original AeroProducts 4-bladed propellers and the later Hamilton Standard 3-bladed propellers (used by both VNAF options and also Black Killer Duck). Additionally, decals provided for the flare launcher's compressed air/nitrogen bottles' markings and as well as the illuminator's various placards/warnings. Now available www.AOAdecals.com 1/72 ($15.50 w/free US shipping): 1/144 ($11.50 w/free US shipping):
  7. After the earlier O-1 Bird Dog and OV-10 Bronco sheets, AOA decals completes the big three Vietnam USAF FACs in 1/32 decal form with this new release covering the O-2 Skymaster for Roden's new kit. 32-025 FAC & BS Bomber Oscar Deuces USAF/VNAF O-2A/O-2B Skymasters in the Vietnam War 14 schemes: O-2A - 7 grey USAF options, 3 black USAF options, and 1 VNAF option. O-2B - 3 SEA camouflaged USAF options (In the hopes Roden will release an O-2B boxing or someone will produce a B conversion.....) Enough data/stencils are provided for at least two aircraft (more if you go with the overall black option). Also included is bonus "THE FAC" decals to replace the kit version (the three black schemes in this release don't use it.) Now in stock. $19.50 (free shipping in US) More info: www.AOAdecals.com

  9. Another 1/32 A-6 Intruder release coming, actually two releases. Sheets 32-023 & 32-024 will only cover one squadron - VA-65 Tigers but spans 25 years of their aircraft, starting with their Vietnam War deployments (including the early camo test scheme and the ill-fated 1967 Forrestal cruise), then into the mid 70s period with their more well known schemes, and the beginning of low viz in the early 80s, and ending at Desert Storm. Part 1, 32-023, will cover the six high viz period schemes and includes full stencils for one aircraft (additional stencils are available separately with previous sheet 32-002). Part 2, 32-024, will cover the later four low viz period schemes. Now in stock and available to order: www.AOAdecals.com 32-023 - six schemes covering the high viz period (includes full stencils for one aircraft): 32-024 - four schemes covering the low viz period:
  10. Two new 1/32 F-4 Phantom releases. Both now in stock and available to order (Aug 12) www.AOAdecals.com 32-021 VMFA-334 Falcons: Lovebug 5 - UMSC F-4J Phantom in the Vietnam War & Japan A relatively simple sheet, only one aircraft is covered (can be represented either from Vietnam or later in 1969 when -334 were in Japan). Although VMFA-334 Phantoms have been covered before, the falcon insignia in particular was somewhat lacking until now as well as correct size (large) numbers. National insignia, intake warnings, as well as a few other data stencils/markings provided (not complete F-4 airframe data). 32-022 Phantom Eagles & Knights: USMC F-4B Phantoms in the Vietnam War This will be a limited release due to the nature of the subject since it will require a conversion set to make an F-4B out of a Tamiya 1/32 F-4 Phantom kit (GT Resin, Real Model, Cam, Cutting Edge, and maybe others make/made F-4B conversions of some type). Sheet covers two squadrons from the Vietnam War, six options (3 different aircraft) for VMFA-115 Silver Eagles and two options for VMFA-314 Black Knights. National insignia, intake warnings, as well as a few other data stencils/markings provided (not complete F-4 airframe data). (The eagle markings look dark grey in the images but they're being printed in silver metallic.)
  11. Two years later than anticipated but finally have the A-4 Skyhawks sheets coming in 1/48. The focus again is on covering Vietnam specific aircraft and like usual with AOA an attempt was to cover a range of markings used by specific squadrons throughout their time in Vietnam. The majority of these schemes have never been done before, and some that have weren't previously done accurately. There will be three parts of "Battle Scooters", with each having 12 or 13 options for A-4C, A-4E, and A-4F Skyhawks. A complete set of data/stencils also is included. $20 each Printed by Cartograf Now available (Dec 28) www.AOAdecals.com Each sheet will come with one full stencil/data sheet, more can be purchased seperately (already available as sheet 48-004) (Click images for larger views) 48-008 (Part 1) 13 options: VMA-223 Bulldogs - seven options: one A-4C and six A-4E from Chu Lai, South Vietnam, spanning betwen 1966-69 VA-106 Gladiators - one A-4E option from USS Intrepid 1968-69 VA-144 Roadrunners - three options: one A-4C from USS Constellation 1964-65, one A-4E from USS Kitty Hawk 1967-68, and one A-4E from USS Bon Homme Richard 1969 VA-216 Black Diamonds - two options: one A-4C from USS Hancock 1964-65 and one A-4C from USS Coral Sea 1968-69 48-009 (Part 2) 13 options: VMA-214 Blacksheep - one A-4C option from Chu Lai, South Vietnam, 1966/67 VMA-311 Tomcats - six options from Chu Lai, South Vietnam, spanning betwen 1966-70 VA-22 Fighting Redcocks - one A-4C option from USS Ranger 1967-68 and two A-4F options from USS Bon Homme Richard 1970 (one CAG, one line scheme) VA-55 Warhorses - three options, one A-4E from USS Ranger 1965-66, one A-4C from USS Constellation 1967, and one A-4F from USS Hancock 1972 48-010 (Part 3) 12 options: VMA-211 Wake Island Avengers - two A-4E options from Chu Lai, South Vietnam betwen 1968-69 VA-36 Roadrunners - one A-4C option from USS Intrepid 1968-69 VA-94 Mighty Shrikes - five options: one A-4C from USS Ranger 1694-65, one A-4E from USS Bon Homme Richard 1968, one A-4E from USS Bon Homme Richard 1969 (CAG scheme), and two A-4E from USS Bon Homme Richard 1970 (one CAG, one line scheme) VA-146 Blue Diamonds - one A-4C from USS Constellation 1964-65 VA-155 Silver Foxes - three options: one A-4E from USS Ranger 1964-65, and two A-4F from USS Ranger 1968-69
