  1. This is the 1:72 Academy USN EA-18G "ShadowHawks". The build is straight out of the box and airbrushed with a mixture of Tamiya and MIG paints. I have left this aircraft pretty clean, although I saw a picture of an EA-18 with almost green (I have used RML Grey) looking beaten up drop fuel tanks. I have added them to this model to try and break up the colour scheme a bit. Although you cant see it here in the photos - the iconic "ShadowHawks" wording is down either side of the drop fuel tanks. Here is a top down view into the cockpit - I have painted the internal cockpit in a medium blue colour which I think at this scale still looks a dark grey. Last picture is looking down the planes nose - showing off that typical FA-18 sleekness!

  3. Apologize for having only one pic per post, cuz i'm having problems with my photobucket account.... This is my latest build. F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is so popular that I decided to build it with an alternative way. That's the very reason i put it up on a brass rod, and have its landing gears modified as without ground load. Hope you enjoy it...
