  1. This is the 1:72 Academy USN EA-18G "ShadowHawks". The build is straight out of the box and airbrushed with a mixture of Tamiya and MIG paints. I have left this aircraft pretty clean, although I saw a picture of an EA-18 with almost green (I have used RML Grey) looking beaten up drop fuel tanks. I have added them to this model to try and break up the colour scheme a bit. Although you cant see it here in the photos - the iconic "ShadowHawks" wording is down either side of the drop fuel tanks. Here is a top down view into the cockpit - I have painted the internal cockpit in a medium blue colour which I think at this scale still looks a dark grey. Last picture is looking down the planes nose - showing off that typical FA-18 sleekness!

  3. Hey folks, just rolled out another kit...I love the engineering, but I made a few mistakes. Over all tried for the first time weather chipping medium and rigging for antenna.
  4. Another quick build with Bullseye decals
  5. Shelf queen making it to the dance floor...
