I asked for advice with this build here a few months ago so I thought I might as well share the results 🙂 I'm quite a novice so please be nice! Ultimately I elected to magnetize the hardpoints and weapons so that as I build a bigger collection of planes and associated weapons I can display many different configurations. I was a bit worried it wouldn't work, but it seemed that in the end it worked just as well as I'd have hoped. Had to destroy the drop tanks that came with the kit sadly in order to get bare pylons on the centerline and wings, but it's not like the F-15 has enough

Hello All, Trying to build a 1/48 Strike Eagle for my boys, but with their grandad's tail number. However, the only decal sheet in 1/48 that would make up an accurate representation of that jet is Afterburner Decals' "Lakenheath Mudhens" - long out of print. I only need a couple of decals from that sheet, basically any of the trapezoid versions of the 494th Fighter Squadron insignia. I've circled them in red in the photo below, to show what I'm looking for. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful. I will gladly pay for the decals + shipping. Or, if anyo

Hi guys, I'm about to paint my GWH 1/72nd F-15E and already have the Two Bobs decals for it. The Two Bobs instructions mention several bombs and missiles that were used in these missions, but no specific load out possibilities. Can you guys help out? Also, are CFT side pylons (I don't know the station number for these) placed even when no bombs are carried on these pylons?

Hello, I just started my 3rd 1/48 GWH F-15, what a great kit 🙂 This one will be the F-15E with Two Bobs' "T-Bolts rule" decals, specifically the 389th FS CC aircraft, very similar to this one:

This one went under the radar but Two Bobs just released a new decal sheet covering the F-15E's of the 391st FS (Bold Tigers) during their deployment to the Middle East. My two favorites , Leonidas and Black Widow, are there. NOICE!

So apparently, this trend on deployed Strike Eagles with nose art is going to continue, and in a big way! My humble side hustle, Third Offset Designs, is proud to present our second print capturing the heritage of OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE deployed F-15Es, this time from the 391st Fighter Squadron. This print will be available starting Wednesday, March 13th, from Third Offset Designs. Here's a quick preview video of the print, and some of the artwork. I'll add a full size picture once the print is on sale: 391st EFS - OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE Also, if you had

Hi folks! I good friend of mine has terminal kidney issues (he's on hemodialysis daily) and has been gifted a NIB kit #4719 but it's missing the canopy. He can build this one as the parts are large. Smaller kits he's had to give up on building. If anyone has one they can spare from their parts box I'll happily pay for it. Also, if anyone has a set of aftermarket decals for this kit they will not be using I'd like to get them for him. I'll pay for the canopy and decals and if you are willing to mail them directly to him I'll get you his address and, obviously, I'll cover that cost.

What is going on with the top of the wing of this F-15E? If I was building a model and let too much liquid cement pool something like this might result! It looks like the surface is uneven, but I guess it could just be a really bad paint job. I had to degrade the picture a lot to stay within the submission constraints, if you want to see a MUCH better picture, check here.

Hey all, Would anyone have painting instructions from either 1/72 or 1/48 monogram or Hasegawa strike eagle kits for the euro one demo bird? Looking at doing one but don't have the instruction sheet for painting and Google has nothing. Thanks.

Hello again. :) This F-15E model is something like 2 models in 1, so enjoy this photo session in its second mode - the "parked" mode! For more - here are the links with the "in-flight" photoshoot and the WIP topic. No loadouts this time, to reveal more of the view....

This Bunker Buster (WIP topic) is finally ready! Quite a challenge - my first 1/32 scale model, 3rd transformable model (with moving parts), definitely heaviest model (about 1.5 kg), my first entirely built model here on this forum and in LSP... i`m just so happy with the result, so far, cause it`s not actually completely ready. This is how it looks unweathered. Still a major further weathering should take place, at some point. A big Thank You to everyone involved with either comments, tips & tricks, advices, critics, etc! About the kit - i built it almost OOB, with the following additiona

I have some unused parts from1/32 Tamiya F-15E (original issue, NOT bunker buster) kit, all weapons (bombs and 4 Sidewinders), some pylons, pilot figures, ladder, engine nozzles. In short, almost all parts not used in F-15I conversion. About half of boms are glued, some are still on sprue. Will include original decal sheet (LANTIRN pods, cockpit and LG decals used) and assembly manual. These are $18 shipped in US.

Hi all! Here is my 1/48 Revell F-15E Strike Eagle in 90th FS, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska markings. This build took me about 2.5 weeks, and I entered it into my very first judged contest. Won 2nd place in the "1/48 Multi-engine Jets" category. Very happy with that! I had heard the Revell F-15E kit was very nice, and boy was that right! This was easily the nicest and best fitting kit I have built so far (this is my 15th). I am very impressed, too bad there were no bombs included... I had to raid my Hasegawa Weapons Set D for bombs. I used a combination of Repli-Scale, TwoBob

This kit was an Israel version from Academy, i got it in a cheap price without decals and all weapons, and decided to turn this kit as a E version. Jet itself: academy kit, wings and front fuselage fit poor, I rescribe some panel lines, and add rivets. Bombs and missiles: Kinetic parts, IMO Academy weapons and pods are better fit and detail than kinetic. Decals: Bestfong decals, the film is thin and adhesive is good, but due to different colors, have to add layer and layers for one pattern. Here comes pics, hope you en
