  1. 30 July 2011 I took this picture of a Su-17 in the Vinnitsya HQ museum (Ukraine), loaded with dual R-60 launch rails on the middle wing pylons. Does anyone know if this is a viable R-60 configuration and if any Fitters actually flew with these? Online I've only found two museum Fitters carrying this dual R-60 loadout, but I haven't found any pictures of operational Fitters with this configuration. I'm in the final stages of completing my 1:48 Su-17M4 Fitter, and would like to know if a dual R-60 load is possible. Thanks for any help.
  2. Hi All, Maiden post. This is an OOB build of the Smeer 1/72 Su-7 BKL in Egyptian colours. Raised panel lines not too much of an issue at this scale. Initially sanded part of it with 1500 sandpaper. Thought better of it and switched to shading the lines with a 2B pencil and slightly going over them with a flat brush. I think the pencil works better
  3. Hi all, For my next project I'm planning to make Polish su-22 M4 out of the kittyhawk offering. In planning the build, I'm working out what would be an interesting but realistic warload for the model and among a pair of B8m rocket pods, aphid missiles, and gas bags on the wings, I was thinking of buying a pair of aerobonus mbd3-u6 MERs for the belly stations. I just can't find any good pics of the MERs attached to these stations, so I was wondering if anyone can share some info or pics of how the MERs would be attached. Also what bombs would be used? It looks like the arangment un

  5. Hi everyone! Here's my new project I wanna share with you, the Sukhoi Su-17M3. But hold on, it's not the infamous Kitty Hawk Fitter and neither is the new HobbyBoss one. We're talking about a Modelsvit one in 1:72 scale. And from what I've seen so far, it is by far the best Fitter in this scale... and quite possibly in any. You might have seen the K-36 seat already from Ken's beautiful M-17 build, but here it is again. Ejection seat consists of, believe it or not, 23 parts! What you see here is 22 parts as I left of the commendably thin ejection seat lever to add at the
