I was wondering if anyone had either of these boxings from around 1999 or so. These are the ones that had the patches in them. I'm mainly interested in the patches. I thought I'd post here and in the Buy/Sell Forum for maybe a little bit more exposure. Thanks!

Hello! Here’s my recent project, an Eduard (Profipack) Hellcat F6F-5 Late. It means PE, canopy masks and resin wheels included, which is great. Everything went fine, this is a very good kit. Even after I dropped some varnish all over the right wing. So, ALWAYS put the airbrush cup lid ON! Lesson learned… Hope you enjoy! Cheers!

Hopefully I am doing this right... I have a few high end kits with the "BigEd" goodies. I would like them to go to a good home. I have a Trumpeter F-6F-3 (1/32) w/BigEd, Kinetic S2E (1/48) w/BigEd. I am a disabled veteran with bilateral Acoustic Neuroma (s). I will probably never get to them -let alone finish them. Anyone interested? Hopefully I posted this right! I have been considering a new project: I want to do Lt. Lochridge's F6F-3 (#117, "Lolly") as featured in the most recent release of the 1/48 Eduard kit. The deal is that I prefer to use the Hasegawa model. I was wondering if anyone has the decals left over that they would be willing to part with. I would appreciate it! (Also posted in buy/sell)

Does anyone know if there is any sort of archive of photos that have been in IPMS Journals and/or taken at the national conventions? I would like to try to find a specific photo of a 1/48 Fujimi F6F Hellcat. Someone built it and painted it orange and white and put custom decals for Hooters restaurant on it. It was displayed with a cutout of Bert Kinzey's bio photo and a caption bubble saying that the shade of orange was entirely incorrect for that aircraft. That would have been sometime in the mid-90s. I don't know much about Fleet Air Arm Hellcats and my references don't cover them really well. Freightdog makes a sheet that has a Hellcat from 800 NAS that has a checkered cowling. I can't find any photos of one painted like that. Does anyone know of any? Thanks!

Hey, does anyone happen to have the VF-9 decals for the Cyber Hobby 1/72 F6F Hellcat that they aren't going to use? I've been rolling along with 1/72 Hellcats and I would like to do at least one VF-9 airplane. As far as I know VF-9's F6F-3s have not been done on an aftermarket sheet. Cyber Hobby's kit with the flight deck has them. If someone happens to have them or knows of another source it would be a huge help. Thanks!
