  1. OK, this time something different. 1/144 Dragon A-6E with Retro Wings cockpit set and PaulusVictor decals. This kit is a nasty dog. In the box - it looks like 3.6 ...not great, not terrible. Unfortunately it is more terrible than great when you start it. Fit is very bad, and there is a lot of details missing. I tried to add some that are really visible. The most important is small hump behind the canopy... Some small intakes too. There is a lot of sink marks in the plastic, and many missing panel lines that needs to be rescribed. I will try to make decent wing fold. I used Tamiya Epoxy Putty for all these stuff so far. I made FOD covers because the intakes have wrong shape, and I will scratch pilot steps to make things more interesting. For now - I have two coats of primer and some polishing done - but there are still some surface imperfections... There will be more to show soon I hope. This A-6 is TRAM Intruder, but with old type metal wings and late type air brakes - real Frankenstein

  3. A very enjoyable built. No aftermarkets, scratched a few minor bits inside & out for some more detail and to make some things a better scale , added a pilot. It has the RAN decals added to the kit. Might ultimately mount it flying on a base.
  4. I started this one the other day, but in my haste forgot to take any in progress shots. The build has progressed pretty fast, the kit is nicely engineered though I know it has issues. I will make a few easy corrections but not fix everything. I have modified the main gear struts to twin bogies, the wheels will come from a CH-53 kit's left overs. Not sure if I will attempt to add the forward observation windows. Some shots will be provided shortly.

  6. Hello friends, after many hours of work, the model has been finished. Greetings and I hope you like it https://youtu.be/MXuegQ1RBlI
  7. Hello friends, we continue to assemble the model, the engine is finished, the interior of the cabin is made and the decals are placed. You start painting exterior panels with Zero-paint. Greetings and I hope you like it https://youtu.be/RpOTJsws1js
  8. murad

Italeri's ancient Elefant in 1/35, built OOB weathered oldskool with sticks and stones.
  9. Hello friends, we continue to assemble the model, some parts are painted with primer and then painted with chrome. It is my first truck model that I make of the Italeri brand, I have some problems with the assembly of parts. https://youtu.be/Agy-HIo_LmU If you have not seen the previous parts here I leave the link: Part 1: https://youtu.be/gqYZcCjLrag Part 2: https://youtu.be/QnfScLW7fXE Greetings and I hope you like it
  10. I have a Italeri 1/35 Panther A kit that came to me started. It had no barrel or tracks. The barrel has since been replaced by a Dragon plastic barrel, and I MIGHT have a set of Tamiya Panther G individual link tracks somewhere in the stash. This would make a great start to a panzerstellung (fixed emplacement) diorama. I also have a Italeri 1/35 Tiger I Late. It's missing the driver's hatch parts, the photoetch, and the decals. The turret has been started (breech assembled & installed, halves joined, zimmerit panels applied; this is how I got it). I have included Tamiya Commander & Driver figures, a spare Tamiya barrel as Italeri only molded the Early barrel with the larger muzzle brake, and replacement decals for Tiger 312, s.Pz.Abt. 505. I'm looking for equivalent value: 1/48 or 1/32 aircraft: US (WWII-MODERN), German (WWII - COLD WAR), Japanese (WWII), British (Australian WWII), & Soviet (WWII, Korea, Vietnam), kits and/or aftermarket. 1/72 or 1/35 armor: US (WWII-MODERN), German (WWII-MODERN), kits and/or aftermarket. Sci-Fi of various scales: Revell Robotech Defenders kits; Gundam kits and/or aftermarket; Nitto, SF3D/MaschinenKrieger kits; Bandai Cowboy Bebop "Redtail" kit; Babylon 5 kits and or aftermarket; Revell/Fine Molds Star Wars kits and/or aftermarket; Star Trek kits and/or aftermarket; Moebius Battlestar Galactica kits and/or aftermarket.
  11. Hello friends, we continue to assemble the model, the steering system has been modified so that the wheels could turn as in reality. Pieces of the cabin are prepared to be painted. The assembly is slowing down due to lack of information in the part painting scheme. https://youtu.be/QnfScLW7fXE If you have not seen the first part here I leave the link: https://youtu.be/gqYZcCjLrag Greetings and I hope you like it
  12. Hello friends, here begins the assembly of my first truck. It's a Scania R730 V8 Streamline "Team Chimera", from the moment I saw it I liked it and I decided to buy it. It is from the Italeri brand at 1/24 scale and it seems that it comes very well detailed with a lot of decals. https://youtu.be/gqYZcCjLrag Greetings and I hope you like it
  13. G'day All,This is my latest completion, Italeri's 1/9 Manx Norton. Not a bad kit TLAR to me when finished and is as close as I'll ever get to owning a real Manx Norton. Brush painted with Humbrol and Tamiya enamels. No apologies for the pic's, they are spot on to my usual crappy standard!Cheers,Devo
  14. G'day All, I thought I would put up a few pic's of my latest in progress build. Hopefully it's starting to resemble an MV Agusta 500cc 4 cylinder GP bike from the 1960's. It's all OOB and brush painted. I left off the front mudguard as I saw a pic of this bike racing without it, so why not. I just have the fuel tank, seat and fairing to go and it will be finished. Cheers, Devo
  15. Hi modellers, This is a F-104G Starfighter of 3° Stormo, 132° Gruppo Grappa - Verona-Villafranca Italy 1983. 16. As I am building the latest iteration of the Sukhoi Su-34 - I thought I'd have a go at the earliest version - the T-10V1 Su-27IB. I originally thought of just grafting the original Su-27 tailboom onto the Italeri Su-34 kit - but the biggest problem I faced was filling in the mainwheel wells - they are huge on the Su-34 and cut into the intake sides - the whole area is totally different between the Su-27IB and production Su-34. So I have adopted the method that Sukhoi used - grafting the new side-by-side cockpit section front fuselage onto the rear of a tandem two-seat Su-27UB trainer...... Here's what I mean - the Italeri Su-34 is on the left, the Heller Su-27UB on the right - the blue tape shows where I am making the cuts.... Underside view showing the major difference in the main landing gear wells..... The Italeri Su-34 front end grafted onto the Heller Su-27UB rear end - note the discrepancy in the shape of the spines - fixable with generous applications of Milliput (I hope) Undersides ....... Now all I have to do is graft the Italeri wings onto the Heller fuselage (the Italeri wings are better), fix the intakes (the scallop for the well on the Heller intake is now correct for the Su-27IB - but the intake lower edges are too 'square' and lack the slot in the bottom)....... More later.. Ken
  17. I recently bought this kit and it is missing the canopy and decal sheet. If you have either if these items (or both) please let me know. I’d even take ANY ‘F’ decals you may have as I have none in the spares. Thank you! Later, Lee
  18. Hello friends Here I bring you this heavy car fighter from the German Wehrmacht. The model is from the Italeri brand at 1/35 scale, painted with camouflage and with a figure. https://youtu.be/52lo5oJrVUc Greetings and I hope you like it
  19. I have just recently moved and am down sizing pretty much everything. So here is what I got. The models with be shipped Priority mail. which is a little under $12. The decals will be regular mail or priority if preferred by the buyer. I will consider shipping out of the country, but shipping and insurance will be on the buyer. Prices are without shipping, but are reasonably negotiable as I don't want to be out of line. Please note that the Fireball resin and most of these decals are no longer made. IM me for questions and photos. 20. I build models for the exciting project : Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group who are restoring a genuine and what will be the world's only flying Typhoon MKIB. There's been a bit of a rush on lately with customers wanting a quarter scale model of the Typhoon! So I have ended up building four at once! Three mar2ked as the actual airframe 'RB396 although they wanted invasion stripes on her which she never had: therefore there is some artistic licence going on!; and the fourth one is the aircraft that first trialed the use of Napalm bombs in the UK which was flown by David Ince who sadly passed away this year. However the timing is perfect for these four as I have organised in partnership with Romsey Modellers a special Typhoon display at SMW 2017 next week, which is aiming to spread the word about the project, so if your off to SMW please come and see us either at the Typhoon display or at Tangmere Sector Modellers display in the same hall. The kit I used is the Italeri which is quite basic but goes together well and is enhanced by eduard cockpit set. Iv used Mission Models paints for the first time which worked beautifully: Decals are from xtradecal and their RAF number and letter set.
  21. Hello partners Here I show you a set of models that belonged to the German military force sent to North Africa. There are 4 different brands of models, trumpeter, tamiya, italeri and airfix. A greeting friends
  22. I have now got both of the existing 1/72 scale kits - the new one from Trumpeter (2017 release) - and the old one from Italeri (released in 1995) - so I thought I'd do a comparison.... these are just my personal opinions BTW..... The Trumpeter kit is typical from them - excellent packaging, crisp moulding and loads of weaponry and very expensive - but also some shape errors. It also represents the latest configuration - whereas the Italeri kit is of a Su-34 from about 20 years ago... Trumpeters excellent box art....... .... and superb packaging. But the nose is way off !!! .... compared to the real thing Italeri got it much better - all those years ago..... Italeri upper fuselage mated to Trumpeter lower.... Italeri lower fuselage mated to Trumpeter upper. Note the strakes on the Trumpeter kit (an addition since Italeri kitted their version). Trumpeter moulded the fuselage and wings as one part...... (but got the wingspan wrong - they measured the span WITHOUT the wingtip launch rails - so it works out at 208mm instead of the correct 204mm - Italeri is nearer at 205mm) Note also the sharp edge to the curved engine nacelles..... Italeri's nacelles are blended in better - much more subtle. Italer got their fins wrong - the early Su-34 prototypes had a taller fin taken from the Su-27UB - it was later replaced with a shorter fin taken from a single-seat Su-27. Trumpeter's fin (on the left) is better. Trumpeter provide the latest tailboom - with a built-in APU - but it is a half-hearted attempt - you have to cut out a recess and fit the intake grille into it. And.... they don't provide the APU exhaust flaps at the top rear of the tailboom.... Trumpeter (top) and Italeri tailbooms - Italeri is too long. More later Ken
  23. Hello all, These are my hornets I've been slowly working on lately. Im new to the scene and would appreciate any feedback or tips on how I can improve as an aircraft modeller. let me know what you think. thanks.
  24. I was gifted this update/improvement set and it is missing the PE fret. I can use it or any leftovers you may have regardless of condition. I'd even take a photocopy of it to use to make my own parts out of styrene. This is for the Italeri kit. Thanks for any help! Later, Lee
