I have proposed a rather ambitious list of projects. However, this is not too much out of my usual build routine. I usually get 10 -12 kits built in year. I just have them all mapped out in advance for once. The part that will bog me down is the publishing the day to day work that is taking place in the forum. I will do my best. To reiterate my plans I am showing the first four projects. Monogram(ProModeller)-vs-ICM P-51B Mustang Models USA-vs-Roden O-1 Bird Dog Academy-vs-HobbyBoss F8F-1 Bearcat And for now at least:

I am trying to build a history of the 366th FG-FBG-FBW-TFW-FW from WWII to today. I have seventeen 1/48 fighter kits, four 1/72 tanker & bomber kits and decals for most types. The one type I am missing any information or photos of is the F-51D while at Alexandria AFB, LA from Jan - late 1953, before the FBG converted to F-86Fs. From the Fogotten Aircraft website I have the following five serial numbers: P-51D-25-NA s/n 44-73026 *1953: USAF 390th FBS (366th FBG). P-51D-25-NA s/n 44-73288 *1950: Iowa ANG 124th FS. *1953: USAF 391st FBS (366th

Apart from the Eduard PE seat belts, this was built OOB. This was a build of "firsts" for me: first WWII plane, first propeller plane and first build completed in overall silver. It was painted with Polished Aluminium from AK Interactive's new Xtreme Metal range. It went down rather smoothly and had a great shine over a coat of gloss black. However, it did not adhere well to the kit's surface and several parts rubbed off. After spraying the appropriate areas back with the paint, I sealed the whole model with Mr Color gloss clear. This helped protect the paint thoroughly at the exp
